  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu Airport (1345Meters).

      Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be displaying an Ace the Himalaya signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transffered to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Pre-Trip Meeting And Sightseeing Around Kathmandu Valley.

      Day 2: Pre-Trip Meeting And Sightseeing Around Kathmandu Valley.

      In the morning, after breakfast, At around 8am, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your trek leader/guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your trek. We will also supply you with our trek Duffel Bag, T-shirt and a Cap. For the meeting, please make sure you bring passport, three copies of passport-size photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance, if any, and sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer. Please inform us in advance if you will be arriving late and therefore are unable to attend the pre-trip meeting.

      After the Pre-Trip meeting and breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start at 9.45 AM in the morning. We provide a private vehicle and professional tour guide. We visit Boudhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa. After Boudhnath Stupa we visit Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here we see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. We also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is a collection of pagoda and shikhara – style temples grouped around a fifty-five-window palace of brick and wood. The attraction of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square are the the Lion gate, the Golden gate, the Palace of fifty five windows, art galleries, the Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla.

      The rest of our time in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some last-minute shopping in Thamel area near by your hotel.Overnight at Hotel.

      Trekking staff will arrive at the hotel at 6:30 a.m. to pick you up for a seven hour bus trip, which leaves around 7:30 a.m. for Pokhara (900m). Overnight at Pokhara hotel.

      After an hour of driving, we begin the trek at Nayapul (1010m). After a fifteen minute walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1015m), a large village with many shops and teahouses. From there the trail continues through the village, following the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. It continues steadily up the side of the valley to Hille (1495m). A short climb brings us to Tikhedunga (1570m). Today’s walk provides a short and relatively easy day, and the journey familiarizes climbers with the experience of trekking in Nepal. Overnight at guesthouse.

      Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with a steep climb to Ulleri, a large Magar village at 2070 meters. The trail then continues to ascend more gently, through forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). We then trek toward Nangethanti (2460m). After an hour’s walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2840m). Overnight at guesthouse.

      Very early in the morning, we begin an hour’s hike to Poon Hill (3210m), a brilliant spectacle. This vantage point provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. We’ll spend about an hour here before returning to Ghorepani. After a hot breakfast at the hotel, we trek to Tadapani (2610m). Before starting towards Tadapani, we climb along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). After that we descend to the Banthanti, then turning off to Tadapani. Overnight at guesthouse.

      The day starts with a steep downhill trail cutting through rhododendron forests. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests until trail eases as we near Gurjung, the village of Gurung people. After this, Chommrong (2140m) is an easy walk away. Overnight at guesthouse.

      Today the trail drops down to the Chhomrong Khola as we continue the climb to Khuldighar (2380m). Here used to be an ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area) Check Post. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, after which the route leads steeply down a bank of rock. It then levels out, running through bamboo thickets on the bottom of the gorge along the west side of the river. We reach Dovan (2500m) after five and a half hours of walking.       Today only holds four hours of walking because of the high altitude and the risk of snow avalanches in the area we will be crossing in the next morning. Our day begins with a climb through bamboo and then rhododendron forests, on to Himalayan Hotel and then Hinko Cave. Deurali (3200m) is located on a ridge above Hinko, through the stretch of trail most subject to avalanches. Overnight at guesthouse.

      Today the five hour trek takes us past the Machhapuchhare base camp. This base is not used to ascend the mountain, as climbing the Machhapuchhare is forbidden. Because it is completely surrounded by mountains, this area is known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. A two hour trek from Machhapuchhare takes us to the Annapurna base camp (ABC) at an elevation of 4130m. There you can view unobstructed sights of spectacular mountain scenery. Overnight at guesthouse.

      Today we have a four hour walk, the slow pace allowing us to acclimatize sufficiently to climb Annapurna. The guide will give important and useful information about climbing Tent Peak (4400m) and the next day’s activities. Starting today the accommodation will be tented camps for the next two days, with meals cooked by our professional chef. Overnight at tented camp.

      A day spent acclimatizing and adjusting to the thin air, we take a short trek around the high camp (5000m) and prepare for our next morning’s adventure. Overnight at tented camp.

      Today is our main adventure day. Weather permitting, we’ll make an early morning start up Tent Peak (5850m). After a safe trip to the summit, we’ll make our way down and then back to the base camp. Overnight at tented camp.

      We return along the same trail for six hours, dropping down to the bank of Modi Khola and then the small town of Deurali (3200m). Overnight at guesthouse.

      We follow the same trail for another six hours, until we reach Chommrong (2140m). After Khuldighar we pass an experimental sheep farm, with the trail continuing through rhododendron and bamboo fields. Overnight at guesthouse.

      Today’s five hour walk begins on flat ground and gradually slopes downhill for an hour. We begin to descend steeply through forests, reaching a field that leads to Kumrong Khola. From here the trail climbs upward, taking us to the Kumrong Danda. From here, a gentle forty-five minute walk leads down to Ghandruk (1950m).

      Ghandruk is the village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal. The Gurung have their own dialect, culture, costume, and lifestyle. This village is possibly Nepal’s most popular tourist destination, offering beautiful mountain views and easily connected to Pokhara and Kathmandu. We’ll have time for a bit of sightseeing at the village, as well. Overnight at guesthouse.

      From Ghandruk we walk along the right bank of Modi Khola for five hours until we reach Birethanti, considered the most relaxing and enjoyable section of the entire trek. We reach Nayapul (1010m) and then an hour drive takes us back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

      The sightseeing trip will begin at 9 a.m. after breakfast. We’ll visit Fewa Lake, Bagnes Lake, Devi’s Waterfall, a museum, a Tibetan refugee settlement, and Gupteshower Cave. The afternoon will be spent relaxing. Overnight at hotel.

      We return to the hotel in Kathmandu. If you are interested in continuing your exploration, Kathmandu offers much to see and do, including Chitwan Jungle Safari, River Rafting Adventure, Kathmandu Shopping Tour, and Scenic Everest Flight.

      In the evening we will have a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances. (Your guide(s) and an office staff will accompany you.) Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
