They will facilitate your transfer to your respective hotels in the heart of Kathmandu, particularly in Thamel. Thamel is known for its vibrant atmosphere and is considered one of the most exciting places in Nepal and even across Asia.


      Once you have checked in and had time to rest and recover from jet lag, you will have a group meeting at the main meeting hall or lobby. During this meeting, our guide will provide important information about the upcoming trek, including the route, accommodations, and other necessary details. This briefing will ensure you are well-prepared and have all the information you need for the trek.


      You will spend the night in Kathmandu at Hotel Thamel Park or a similar 3-star hotel, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay before commencing your trek.

      At an altitude of 2,840 meters, you will begin your adventure by transferring to Kathmandu domestic airport in the early morning, according to your flight schedule. A short and scenic flight will take you to Lukla, the starting and ending point for various adventures and treks in the Khumbu and Everest regions.


      Once you land in Lukla, the trekking journey commences on a pleasant path that passes through welcoming Sherpa villages. Along the way, you will be treated to stunning views of Kongde and Kusum-Kanguru. Finally, you will arrive at Phakding (or Manjo), where you will spend the night at a local lodge.


      You will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the day, ensuring you are well-nourished for the trekking experience.

      At an altitude of 3,440 meters, you will start your day from Phakding. The morning begins with a gradual walk through a pine forest, leading you to cross a long suspension bridge. Continuing, you will arrive at the charming village of Monjo. Shortly after, you will enter Sagarmatha National Park, known as Sagarmatha in Nepali (meaning Everest) and Chomolungma in the Sherpa language.


      The trail then takes you through a river gorge adorned with tall rhododendron, pine, and fir forests. Crossing the last and highest bridge, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, and Kongde peaks. Finally, you will reach the famous Namche Bazaar at 3,440 meters. This bustling town is ideal for acclimatization and a well-deserved rest day.


      Namche Bazaar is a central hub and town for the Khumbu Sherpa community. On Saturdays, it hosts a vibrant and lively market. You will spend the night at a local lodge in Namche, where you will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner to refuel and nourish yourself for the journey ahead.

      In the afternoon, you will climb through the cool forest, following a winding uphill trail leading to the scenic village of Tyangboche, also known as Tengboche. You will be treated to magnificent views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, and the surrounding mountain ranges from this vantage point.

      The trail continues uphill, with the option of stopping for lunch in Somare, offering close-up views of the impressive Amadablam peak. From there, the path gradually ascends until you reach a point where the routes to Pheriche and Dingboche diverge. Continuing eastward, you will make a short descent to a river before ascending again to reach Dingboche, nestled within the scenic Imjatse valley.


      Dingboche is a charming village with several good lodges where you will spend two nights. These accommodations offer stunning views of the surrounding mountain range, including the prominent Island Peak.       After lunch, the trail takes you on a steep climb to a ridge top known as Thugla Pass. This area is adorned with numerous tombs and memorials, paying tribute to mountaineers and climbers who have ventured to conquer Everest and other nearby peaks. Please take a moment to appreciate their courage and achievements.


      From Thugla pass, the path becomes more accessible, with gentle trails leading you to your overnight stop in Lobuche. This small settlement is situated at the junction of the trails to Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar.


      Gorakshep was once the main base camp for Everest expeditions during the 1950s to 1970s, and it has now been extended further into the corner of the Khumbu glacier, right beneath the towering peak of Everest. From Gorakshep, you will trek for a few more hours over moraines and glaciers, navigating the challenging terrain to reach the iconic Everest Base Camp. The base camp is close to Nuptse-Lo La and Lhotse, offering stunning views of the massive Khumbu Ice Falls and glaciers.


      During the peak mountaineering season, typically between April and May, the base camp is bustling with activity as various expeditions are in full swing.
