  • Day 1 Day 1: Cusco - Huayllabamba
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Cusco - Huayllabamba



      Leaving Cusco early, youโ€™ll take the route to Km82. This is your first check point at the beginning of the trek. From here the trail winds along the river valley for a period. This is a good day to warm-up before the challenges that lie ahead.


      En route youโ€™ll pass Wilkaracay with its impressive view of Patallacta which were both site of importance to the Incas. This is the start of a trail full of Incan sanctuaries.โ€‹


      Reaching your first campsite at Huayllabamba (3000masl). Porters will have set up camp and our cook will begin preparing your evening meal.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Huayllabamba - Pacaymayo
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Huayllabamba - Pacaymayo


      Today following the Inca trail youโ€™ll ascend to Warmiwaรฑuska (โ€œDead Womanโ€™s Passโ€).

      This is the highest altitude mountain pass of the trail (4250masl).

      Descending by intricate stone trails to your campsite for the evening, at Pacaymayo (3500masl).

  • Day 3 Day 3: Pacaymayo - Phuyupatamarca
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Pacaymayo - Phuyupatamarca


      After a good and plentiful breakfast youโ€™ll continue along this ancient trail passing small marsh ecosystems, ascending over the second mountain pass of the trek (3,850masl).


      Taking lunch then continuing on, the last remaining hours of the day, are some of the most epic of the Inca Trail with great landscapes and scenery. Youโ€™ll encounter the last campsite of the trail when the sun begins to set at Phuyupatamarca

  • Day 4 Day 4: Phuyupatamarca - Sungate โ€“ Machupicchu - Cusco
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 4: Phuyupatamarca - Sungate โ€“ Machupicchu - Cusco

      Finally youโ€™ve reached the last leg of the trail to the fabled Incan citadel of Machu Picchu. Tracking down for around 3hrs, about 1000m below from the last campsite.


      On the way youโ€™ll discover a couple of Incan sites: Intipata and Wiรฑaywayna which is just 2 hrs before your arrival to the famous Sungate. 


      Here youโ€™ll get your first glimpse of Machu Picchu; then trekking down further to the citadel for a full guided tour to better understand this incredible Incan site.


      Afterwards youโ€™ll take the bus down to Machu Picchu Pueblo, with your guide. Then embarking on the train back to Ollantaytambo or Cusco to enjoy the evening & revel in an epic journey.โ€‹
