Arrive in the market town of Sarria, 114kms away from Santiago de Compostela. This is the pilgrimsโ favourite starting point on the Camino Frances.

Day 2: Walk from Sarria to Portomarรญn 22 Kms
Stop At: Portomarin, Portomarin, Province of Lugo, Galicia
From Sarria you will walk 22kms into the town of Portomarรญn, along peaceful hamlets and quiet country roads and forest tracks.

Day 3: Walk Portomarรญn to Palas de Rei 25 Kms
Stop At: Palas de Rei, Palas de Rei, Province of Lugo, Galicia
From Portomarin you will walk 25kms into the town of Palas de Rei. You will cross the river Miรฑo (Galiciaโs longest river) and the trail will rise steadily towards the Serra de Ligonde, passing pretty hamlets such as Gonzar and Ventas de Narรณn.
