  • Day 1 Arrival In Kathmandu

      Arrival In Kathmandu

      Welcome to Nepal! You will be greeted at the airport by an Asian Heritage Treks & Travel representative holding your nameplate. Then you will be transferred to the hotel following your arrival at the airport in Nepal. You will pass the Pashupatinath Temple, the Royal Palace Museum, also known as Narayanhity Palace, and the Garden of Dreams, and reach Thamel on your journey from the airport to the hotel. Your accommodation will be located downtown at the tourist hub. There will be enough time to roam around Thamel streets.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing In Kathmandu: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, And Boudhanath Stupa

      Sightseeing In Kathmandu: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, And Boudhanath Stupa

      You will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the tour guide in a private vehicle. You can observe the typical wood-carved temples and structures that depict the historic Kathmandu metropolis. Following that, you will travel to Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, where you can see the religious co-existence and tolerance between Buddhism and Hinduism and take in the expansive views of Kathmandu. Explore the area around Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for followers of the Hindu religion in Southeast Asia. Watch Hindus perform a ritual body cremation ceremony on the banks of the revered Bagmati River, and then travel to Guweyswori Temple, another important pilgrimage site nearby. You can explore the neighbourhood before moving on to Boudhanath Stupa, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was constructed in 600 AD and is the only stupa of its kind in the entire world to reflect Buddhism. After finishing your sightseeing, explore the area around Boudhanath Stupa before returning to your hotel to rest.

      In the early morning, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and then drive to Dhap. The road follows the Sun Koshi River, which then merges with the Tama Koshi River to form another Koshi River until reaching Ghurmi. You will pass many beautiful villages and bazaars along the way. When you arrive in Dhap, you can visit the local bazaar and learn about the local way of life.

  • Day 4 Dhap To Jhapre (2830 M) (Approx. 4-Hour Hike)

      Today, we will start our trek as we walk along the dusty roads leading to Sigane. After walking along the dusty road for some time, we reach Jhapre. Jhapre is famous for its vantage point to view mountains like Mt. Everest and the Numbur Himal. You will also have the opportunity to visit the stupas and monasteries.

  • Day 5 Jhapre To Pikey Peak Base (3600 M) (Approx. 5-Hour Hike)

      Enjoy the sunrise view from Jhapre as the first golden rays of the sun fall on the silver lining of snow-capped mountains. Then, you may continue your trek along the trail for some time until we reach Bhulbule. The trail then becomes steep and climbs through the rhododendron forests and small settlement areas of Lhamuje.

      Crossing the Lhamuje, the trails open out to yak-grazing pasture and then cross a long Mani Wall, followed by a climb along the winding road to Pikey Base Camp. At Pikey Base Camp, you can visit the Yak Cheese Factory and enjoy the magnificent views of the Himalayas surrounding the valley.

  • Day 6 Hike To Pikey Pwak (4065M) And Back To Junebeshi (2390 M) (6-Hour Hike)

      In the early morning, hike to Pikey Peak to enjoy the glorious sunrise over the Himalayas, such as Mt. Everest (8848 m), Numbur Chuli (6959 m), Thamserku (6608 m), Kangtega (6685 m), Khatang (6853 m), Kanchenjunga (8586 m), Manaslu (8163 m), Gaurishankar (7134 m), Dorje Lakpa (6966 m), and Langtang. After enjoying the view, return to Pikey Peak Base Camp, and from there you can hike down to Junbesi, followed by the descent to Lamjura. Crossing many Mani Walls and Chortens on our way, we will reach Junbesi.

  • Day 7 Junbeshi To Salleri (2360 M) (4 To 5-Hour Hike)

      Junbeshi is a typical Sherpa village. Here, you can experience the Sherpa culture and visit the popular monastery. Later, we will leave Junbeshi village and pass through the prayer flags and prayer wheels with carved mantra stone walls. On reaching Salleri, you can rest at the lodge or hike to Phaplu to visit the famous Tibetan monastery.

  • Day 8 Salleri To Kathmandu (8 To 9-Hour Drive)

      You will drive from Salleri to Kathmandu. On the way, you will be offered views of beautiful hills and slopes. After you arrive, youโ€™ll have some free time. You can use this time to stroll through the streets of Thamel. You can also buy souvenirs for your friends and family.

  • Day 9 A Sightseeing Tour Around Patan And Bhaktapur

      A Sightseeing Tour Around Patan And Bhaktapur

      Today, our guide will welcome you and drive you to Patan. Youโ€™ll be driven to one of the ancient cities inside Kathmandu Valley, i.e., Patan Durbar Square, for sightseeing. In Patan, you will visit other UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later on, youโ€™ll visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here.

      Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for Hindu and Buddhist people, and the Banglamukhi Temple. Then, after we visit Bhaktapur, you will be amazed by the architecture, as the city has managed to retain its original form to this day. You can observe the old wood-carved buildings all around Bhaktapur. Explore the surroundings and, afterward, visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the biggest temples in Nepal. Here, you can also take the pottery-making class using traditional methods. You will visit Pottery Square. Here, you can also take the pottery-making class using traditional methods. You will get a lesson on how to design your pot. Once youโ€™ve hammered out the basic shape, you can add beautiful patterns and inscriptions.

      Your trip will come to an end today. Our representative will pick you up in a private van and drop you off at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport approximately three hours before your scheduled flight back to your home or other destination.
