Itinerary of your trip Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

  • Day 1 Kathmandu-Dhampus
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Kathmandu-Dhampus

From Kathmandu, Dhampus is just 225.8 km away. You may either catch a tourist bus or a private carrier or take a flight to Dhampus.

While traveling by road (7 hr 31 min) is a time-consuming option, you may choose the latter option (57  mins) for the fastest travel. Whatโ€™s more, by choosing the flight option, you will skip the toil of long driving hours.

On the other hand, the road option takes you along the lush hills and more outstanding viewpoints which are not available in the flight package.

To conclude, both options have their own advantages and disadvantages. So, it depends upon your priority on which means of transport better suits you. We can help you in choosing the most compatible option.Dhampus to Landruk

  • Day 2 Dhampus-Landruk
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Dhampus-Landruk

We will trek from Dhampus to Landruk after arriving via vehicle. Trekking to Landruk from Dhampus is only 7.4 kilometers long and would take you around 5-6 hours to complete. Landruk is a lovely spot where you can stay the night and enjoy peace and quiet. The view from Landruk is spectacular, with Annapurna South towering over the horizon. The Landruk path deviates from the main Ghorepani-Ghandruk trip. In contrast, it is less developed than the other Annapurna Region sites.

  • Day 3 Landruk-Jhinu Dhanda-Sinuwa
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Landruk-Jhinu Dhanda-Sinuwa

The journey from Landruk to Jhinu is a pleasant stroll through the rhododendron forest, and if youโ€™re on your way down, the hot spring will soothe your aching limbs. Jhinu Danda is also a popular lunch location for visitors from Landruk. weโ€™ll now make our way up the steep path to Sinuwa and take lodges to stay for the night.

  • Day 4 Sinuwa-Bamboo-Himalaya
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Sinuwa-Bamboo-Himalaya

From Sinuwa, we will head straight ahead to Bamboo through the dense forest of Bamboo Bushes. The sounds of Birds and the colors of the butterfly, in the forest, temper the anticipation of what is about to come next. Then we will enter into the avalanche-prone region which will be our stopover for the night.

  • Day 5 Himalaya-Mbc-Abc
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Himalaya-Mbc-Abc

This day can be a bit more exciting as we are about to enter into the snowy parts of the Himalayas. But alongside the views, the trail demands you to take a steep climb, several times on the way, which can be a little annoying. However, thatโ€™s okay as the fruit without hard work doesnโ€™t taste sweet.

To reach ABC from MBC, it nearly takes 2 hours. Once you are there, the mountains are all yours. Seeing the uneven heights of the mountains, it feels as if they are battling with one another for decades on who is taller.

Generally, in the daytime, the views are covered in a thick haze. But, if you are at the right time, you can enjoy the mountain views, right in front of your eyes. Plan a spare day at the ABC in case the weather is unfavorable.

  • Day 6 Abc-Dovan
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Abc-Dovan

After enjoying the views, we will descend back to Dovan for the night stay. we will follow the same trail that we have been through earlier.

  • Day 7 Dovan-Jhinu Danda
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Dovan-Jhinu Danda

We will now travel through magnificent forest areas overflowing with flora and animals for 30 minutes to reach the natural spring known as Jhinu Danda. It is regarded as one of the greatest locations to stay while walking to Annapurna Base Camp.

  • Day 8 Jhinu Dada-Phedi-Pokhara
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Jhinu Dada-Phedi-Pokhara

From Jhinu Dada, weโ€™ll hike down to the river and then to Phedi, where weโ€™ll catch a Jeep to Pokhara. After arriving in Pokhara, we can finally rest and relax for the day. But, if we have time, we will also visit Phewa Lake, Mahendra Cave, Davis Falls, and maybe attempt paragliding in Pokhara.

  • Day 9 Pokhara-Kathmandu
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Pokhara-Kathmandu

Finally, the day has come to return to Kathmandu. I have explained everything about the transportation above, or you may as well check our transport section on the home page tab.
