Flights

Kathmandu - Lukla - Kathmandu domestic airline tickets, including airport tax and 15kgs trekking stuff Note: As per the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, the Lukla flight will be from Ramechhap instead of Kathmandu. So, we will provide Kathmandu to Ramechhap and Ramechhap to Kathmandu transportation and flight tickets for Ramechhap - Lukla - Kathmandu.

Accommodation

We will be accommodated in Hotel Thamel Park or similar in Kathmandu and teahouses during the trek. All accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. A single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional USD 200. Peregrine Treks will arrange rooms with attached washrooms; however, teahouses in some places only have shared washing and toilet facilities. Also, note that single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trekking regions at lower elevations, but it might be challenging to find them at higher elevations.

Hygieneprotocol

The safety of our guests and staff is a top priority, and we are monitoring the evolving Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation closely. All of our guides are fully vaccinated to protect their safety and the safety of all visitors. We are taking recommended prevention and response measures, including: โ€ขOur Tour Guides will wear a mask throughout the tour and gloves when sanitizing, taking temperatures, opening/closing doors, and providing sanitizer to guests. โ€ขGuides will take their temperatures frequently to monitor for fever and will not work if they are sick. After an illness, a guide can return to work after receiving a negative test for COVID-19 or having no fever for 14 days. โ€ขBefore leaving our dispatch, each Tour Guide will ensure that all surfaces in the vehicle are correctly sanitized and wiped down. โ€ข Before any guest enters the vehicle at their pickup location, our Tour Guide will use a non-contact thermometer to ensure that anyone with a fever or anyone traveling with others who have a fever (temperature must be less than 100.4ยบF (38.0ยบC)) do not enter the vehicle. โ€ขThe front seat will be off-limits to guests. โ€ข If a guest jeopardizes the health and safety of another guest, a guide, or a partner employee or customer (e.g., refuses to wear a mask, refuses to abide by social distancing guidelines, etc.), they will be removed from the tour, and no refund will be issued. โ€ขDuring the excursion, our Tour Guides will be the only individuals to open and close the vehicleโ€™s doors. โ€ขGuests will wear a mask for the duration of the tour, except in locations where masks are not required. Guests are required to supply their masks. Guests without masks will not be allowed to take the tour, and no refund will be given. Guests under age five or medically compromised will not be required to wear a mask per CDC guidelines. Children ages five and over are required to wear a face covering. โ€ขGuests will refrain from physical contact with our guide, other guests not in their party, partner staff, or other patrons while maintaining 6-foot social distancing guidelines. โ€ขAt each stop, when guests exit the vehicle, our Tour Guide will use sanitary wipes to disinfect commonly touched areas inside the vehicle. โ€ขUpon returning to the vehicle, our Tour Guide will provide hand sanitizer or wipes for each customer. โ€ขAt the end of each tour, all surfaces inside the vehicle will be sanitized and wiped down. โ€ขWe will limit the number of guests on our tours to 8. โ€ขWe are expanding our communications about our refund policy to ensure anyone who is not feeling well will receive a full refund for the tour is canceled. โ€ขOur leadership team will continue actively monitoring the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and OHA and implement best practices accordingly. When you place your reservation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and home address so that if we receive notification that a guest has tested positive for COVID-19, we can contact all other guests on that tour. As always, we will communicate clearly and directly about our plans and activities to continue to offer our tours in the safest possible environment.

  • Day 1 Arrival To Kathmandu

      Welcome to Nepal, the Himalayan kingdom!

      Youโ€™ll receive it from our representative at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer it to the Hotel. Youโ€™ll have some time to rest, then attend the small team meeting to be briefed about the trip. Overnight at the Hotel. Familiarization activities will take place.

  • Day 2 Fly To Lukla (2,810M), Trek To Phakding (2,610M)

      After a day of incredible immersion into Kathmandu vibes, we are ready to fly and trek into the higher elevation. We drive to the airport early morning to board our flight to Lukla to enter the Everest region. About a half-hour of spectacular flight takes us to the small but beautiful town of Lukla, where magical mountain peaks warmly welcome us.

      Once we prepare for the day walk, we proceed to walk towards Phakding as the destination for the day. The first day of walking in the Everest region goes along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through several mani walls, Chhortens, and beautiful landscapes. Phakding village lies beautifully on the bank of the Dudh Koshi River, where we spend the night. Overnight in Lodge.


  • Day 3 Trek To Namche

      Trek To Namche

      Itโ€™s a beautiful day of walking in the Sagarmatha National Park. We relish the mouthwatering breakfast as a gentle breeze comforts the morning. We set off on the trek for the day and reached Monjo to enter the national park zone. After checking into the park, we head up towards Namche Bazar. We finally reach Namche Bazar by crossing suspension bridges over the river in several places, passing through forested parts and many beautiful views. Namche Bazar is a beautiful settlement on a mountain slope with a view of Himalayan peaks right in front. It is also an important trade center in the Everest region. Overnight in Lodge.

  • Day 4 Namche Excursions

      Namche Excursions

      The acclimatization activity takes place in the Namche bazaar. The hiking uphill of about 2 hours will take you to the Everest View Hotel. This hotel is the highest-altitude hotel in the world and offers magnificent views of the Mahalangur Himalayan range. The visit to Syangboche airport, which is also the highest-located airport but only for the helicopters, provides a new experience for you. On the way, visiting the Mountain Museum relating to the Hillary and Everest expedition history will be an enthralling experience for you. Then the downhill hiking of about 15 minutes will take you to Khumjung village, the best place to observe the Sherpa Culture. Most of the hotel owners reside in Khumjung Village. Before returning to Namche for overnight sleep, the Hillary school and local Sherpa lifestyle can be observed.

  • Day 5 Trek To Tengboche Trek

      A fresh morning with a view of mountain peaks makes our breakfast even tastier. Filled with energy, we are ready to walk to Tengboche for the day. The first section of the walk gently climbs and then goes much flatter before descending to the river and crossing a suspension bridge. After crossing the suspension bridge, it is evident that the trail ascends towards Tengboche.

      We reach Tengboche to be greeted by the spectacular view of Mt. Ama Dablam and the view of Mt. Everest and other peaks around. Apart from enjoying the view of the Himalayan peaks, we can explore the famous Tengboche Monastery, where the first Everest Summiteer Tenzing Norgay Sherpa once lived as a monk. Overnight in Lodge

  • Day 6 Trek To Khumjung (3,790M)

      Trek To Khumjung (3,790M)

      Tengboche is the highest elevation that we reach on this Trip. We start descending towards Khumjung after relishing breakfast at the Lodge in Tengboche. Tengbocheโ€™s marvelous morning mountain view prepares us for the dayโ€™s walk. Khumjung is a small but beautiful Sherpa village with fascinating views. Overnight at a lodge.

  • Day 7 Trek To Namche Bazar (3,440M)

      The journey back down to Namche Bazar will be of around eight hours. Leaving Everest and other mountains far behind, we descend long hours to Namche Bazar. We can take a relaxing stroll around Namche Bazar in the evening or stay inside the comfort of the Lodge. Overnight at a lodge.

  • Day 8 Trek To Lukla (2,860M) Via Phakding

      Trek To Lukla (2,860M) Via Phakding

      The final day of this trek is eventually here today. We walk back to Lukla via Monjo and Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River. A round trip on the Everest Base Camp trail ends here. We celebrate the end of the trekking part of the journey and thank our wonderfully unique supporting crew members for their service and effort to take us to the base camp and back safely. Overnight at a lodge.

  • Day 9 Fly To Kathmandu (1,400M), Check-In At Hotel

      Fly To Kathmandu (1,400M), Check-In At Hotel

      We get ready for the flight back to Kathmandu. We board the plane at the Lukla airstrip and fly back to Kathmandu. Once we land at Kathmandu airport, we go to the hotel and spend the whole day at leisure on our own. Finding relief massage, good food, souvenir shopping, and wandering around can keep you busy for the day.

      Departure

      We drive you to the airport for your scheduled flight homebound or another destination on the Tripโ€™s final day. We will pick you up 3 hours before your flight schedule.
