Daily Breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara: Your stay at Hotel Thamel Park in Kathmandu and Paradise Boutique Hotel in Pokhara includes daily breakfast. This will provide you with an excellent start to the day, ensuring you have a nutritious meal to energize you for your activities and exploration in these cities. Three-time meals during trekking: During the Mardi Himal Trek, you will be provided three meals daily. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The meals will be provided at the lodges or guesthouses along the trekking route. These meals will consist of various local and international dishes, catering to different dietary preferences. You can expect a combination of Nepali, Tibetan, and international cuisines, with options such as rice, dal (lentil soup), curry, noodles, pasta, bread, eggs, vegetables, and more. Tea/Coffee, Bar, and Beverage Bills: Please note that any additional items such as tea, coffee, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, snacks, or items from the bar will not be included in the package cost. You will be responsible for paying for these items separately. It is advisable to carry some extra cash for personal expenses and to enjoy any other food or beverages beyond the provided meals.

Vaccinated Tour Guides: All our tour guides are fully vaccinated to protect their safety and that of our guests. 2. Protective Measures for Guides: Our tour guides will wear masks throughout the tour and use gloves when sanitizing, taking temperatures, and providing hand sanitizer. They will also frequently check their temperatures and refrain from working if sick. They can return to work after receiving a negative COVID-19 test or being fever-free for 14 days. 3. Sanitization of Vehicles: Before each tour, our tour guides will thoroughly sanitize and wipe down all surfaces inside the vehicle to ensure a clean environment for our guests. 4. Temperature Checks: Our tour guides will use non-contact thermometers to check the temperature of each guest before entering the vehicle. Guests with a fever or traveling with others with a fever (temperature above 100.4ยบF/38.0ยบC) will not be allowed to join the tour. 5. Restricted Front Seat Access: The front seat of the vehicle will be off-limits to guests to maintain distance between guests and the tour guide. 6. Non-Compliance Measures: Guests who refuse to wear masks or abide by social distancing guidelines, thereby jeopardizing the health and safety of others, will be removed from the tour without a refund. 7. Minimal Contact: Our tour guides will be the only individuals handling the opening and closing of vehicle doors during the excursion to minimize contact. 8. Mask Requirements: Guests must wear masks for the tour, except in locations where masks are not required. Guests must provide their masks, and those without masks will not be allowed to take the tour. Children under five or with medical conditions are exempted from wearing masks, while children aged five and over must wear face coverings. 9. Social Distancing: Guests are expected to maintain a 6-foot distance from the tour guide, other guests not in their party, partner staff, and other patrons. 10. Sanitization at Stops: Our tour guides will use sanitary wipes to disinfect commonly touched areas inside the vehicle at each stop. 11. Hand Sanitizer/Wipes: Our tour guides will provide hand sanitizer or wipes to each customer when they re-enter the vehicle. 12. Limited Group Size: To ensure social distancing, we limit the number of guests on our tours to 8 people. 13.       You will embark on an overland drive to Pokhara, where you will be treated to scenic views of the Nepalese countryside along the Prithvi Highway. The route mainly follows the path alongside the Trishuli River, offering captivating glimpses of terraced farmland, traditional villages, and lush hills that dot the landscape. As you travel, you may even pass by popular rafting spots along the way, adding to the excitement of the journey.


      After approximately seven hours of driving, you will arrive in Pokhara, a beautiful tourist hub in Nepal. Once in Pokhara, you will check into your hotel, freshen up, and get ready to explore the beautiful lakeside area of Pokhara.       After soaking in the mesmerizing mountain views, you will trek through lush hills, charming hamlets, and serene forests as you approach Pothana. The trail will take you through picturesque landscapes, offering glimpses of the regionโ€™s natural beauty.

      From Pothana, you will continue your trek by following a trail that leads you to Pritam Deurali. At Pritam Deurali, you will diverge from the main route towards the Annapurna Sanctuary and instead begin walking along a trail that takes you toward Mardi Himal. This alternate path offers a more secluded, off-the-beaten-path experience than the previous route.


      As you embark on this trail, you will be surrounded by wilderness and natural beauty. The trek takes you through enchanting forests filled with rhododendron, maple, oak, and hemlock trees, creating a picturesque and vibrant atmosphere. The forested surroundings add to the sense of tranquility and adventure.


      Continuing on the trail, you will eventually reach the Forest Camp, known as Kokar among the locals. Kokar is a relatively remote area, and only a few simple lodges offer essential food and accommodation services. Despite the basic amenities, the lodges provide a comfortable place to rest and recharge for the night.
