This tour includes:

Transport

Airport picks up and drop-off by private car. Kathmandu to Pokhara round way transportation by Tourist bus. Pokhara to Naya Pul both way transportation by private car.

Three meals are chosen from the menu ( Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) during the trek.

Standard twin-sharing accommodation in a three-star hotel in Kathmandu (2 nights only) and Pokhara (3 nights only) including breakfast Twin shearing Lodge/ tea house accommodation during the trek.

Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) entry permit & Tourist Information Management System (TIMS) permits. Medical supplies (first aid kit will be available). Government taxes and official expenses. Assistant guide group size above 8+ persons. Down jackets-sleeping bags and comprehensive medical kits.

  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu (1300M) And Transfer To Hotel.

      Sherpa Expedition & Trekking staff will be there to greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to your hotel, followed by a briefing covering information about the trek. Your safety and comfort are paramount.


  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu To Pokhara (9,00M) 6-7 Hours.

      Our journey begins as we leave Kathmandu and have a 6-7 hour drive to the Pokhara Valley and its beautiful Phewa Tal (lake) and then checking in to your hotel near to Phewa Tal. There is plenty to see and do along Lakeside with its many shops, bars and restaurants to choose from.


  • Day 3 Day 3: Drive To Nayapul (1,000M) & Trek To Tikhedhunga (1480M) 5-6 Hours.

      The trek begins at Nayapul and along the trail you will pass through small settlements and likely see donkeys carrying heavy loads to these remote mountain regions. The trail joins the main route at Birethanti Village from where we head west along the main trail, an ancient Trans-Himalayan trade route. We head to Tikhedhunga for the night.

      Today we start out on the trail with a steep climb up to Ulleri (2070m) and then to the Magar village of Banthanti from where we have some magical views of Mt. Machapuchare (6997m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Annapurna South (7219m). We then head through a lush pink flowering rhododendron forest and cross a small bridge before arriving at the village of Ghorepani where huge peaks, such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna appear in the background. This is a great place to sit back and absorb the exquisite mountain views. We will stay here overnight.

      Poon Hill is understandably well known for offering some of the finest views of the Annapurna Ranges โ€“ especially at sunrise and sunset. An early morning start before sunrise will see us reach the Poon Hill viewpoint where we can watch the changing colors reflecting off the mountains, such as  Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I  (8091m), Annapurna II  (7937m), Annapurna III  (7855m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (729m), Nilgiri  (6940m), Tukuche  (6920m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m) & Lamjung Himal (6931m). Your camera will be clicking away as you watch the changing scene in the morning light. We then return for breakfast at Ghorepani and then we head to Tadapani Village via the scenic trail passing through Deurali Village (meaning ridge in Nepali) and past several teahouses until we reach Tadapani.

      The trek from Tadapani heads down through well-preserved oak and rhododendron forests with views of the Annapurna Ranges along the way. We will stop for lunch at Kimrong Khola (river), a tributary of the Modi Khola River. From here the trail climbs uphill for 1-2 hours before reaching the ridge where it becomes easier before we reach Chomrong Village โ€“ the last village on the trail until Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).

      Today the trail descends to the Chomrong Khola (river) and then climbs up to Khuldighar (2,380m) where there used to be an ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area) check point. Upon reaching a clearing in the forest the trail descends down a steep rocky embankment and then flattens out as it passes through a bamboo grove at the bottom of the gorge. We keep to the west side of the river then have to climb a steep stone staircase to Dovan.

      We ascend through the rhododendron forest on the banks of the Modi Khola (river) to Himalaya Hotel (2,920m) stopping for lunch on the way and then head to Hinku Cave which used to be a landmark for the former Annapurna I expeditions as it was used as a place to camp and a supply depot. We then ascend through the jungle to reach Deurali (3,200m).

      Today we head to the Sanctuary (ABC) along a trail that is often covered in snow โ€“ depending on the season. From ABC we have some truly awesome views of Annapurna I (8091m), a massive mountain right before your eyes! ABC has several teahouses where we can stop for a break and appreciate the magnificent views. We will stay here tonight. 

  • Day 10 Day 10: Trek To Bamboo (2,525M) 5-6 Hours.

      Leaving ABC we trek back down through lush green vegetation until we reach Bamboo Village where we stay for the night.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Trek To Jhinu Danda (1,760M) 5-6 Hours.

      Leaving Bamboo we have a short climb to Sinuwa Village (2320m) and then on to Chomrong. After a break at Chomrong we initially ascend before our descent to Jhinu Danda. This is a superb opportunity to relax your tired muscles in the hot spring just below the Modi River. We will stay here overnight.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Trek To Nayapul & Drive To Pokhara (9,00M) 6-7 Hours.

      This is our last day on the trail and after departing Jhinu Danda we follow an easy navigated trail alongside the Modi Khola River for about 4 to 5 hours before reaching Birethanti Village. We then head to Nayapul from where we drive back to Pokhara. Todayโ€™s trek and drive is about 6 to 7 hours.

      We have a full day of sightseeing in Pokhara. You will have a guide and a private vehicle to take you around the sights. You will visit the following sites: Bindabasini Temple situated in the center of the old bazaar, Davis Fall, located to the south of Pokhara and the 3 kilometer Gupteshwor Cave just 2 kilometers from the Pokhara airport. Also on the itinerary today are: Seti River Gorges, Tibetan Refugee camp at Tashiling, the Tashi Palkhel village in the north of Pokhara known for their woolen carpets and other handicrafts, World Peace Pagoda, World Peace Pagoda 2,100 meters on the Ananda Hill and the International Mountain Museum. We will stay overnight near Phewa Tal.

  • Day 14 Day 14: Drive Back To Kathmandu (1,350M) 6-7 Hours

      Today we head back on a 6 to 7 hour drive to Kathmandu with many warm memories of Nepal and its exceptional culture and geography. These memories will be with you forever.
