      Upon arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative from the Alpine Club of Himalaya who will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you can either rest or explore the bustling streets of Thamel, a popular tourist hub in Kathmandu known for its souvenir shops. In the evening, a welcome dinner hosted by the Alpine Club of Himalaya will introduce you to delicious Nepalese cuisine, offering a taste of our rich food culture. You will spend the night in Kathmandu.

      After breakfast, you will embark on a tour of some of Kathmanduโ€™s most historic and spiritual attractions, several of which are World Heritage Sites. These include the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the renowned โ€™Monkey Templeโ€™ (Swayambhunath), and the impressive Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. At noon, you will join a pre-trip discussion where you can meet our trek leader and other team members, and ask any questions you might have about your trek.       Take an early morning flight to Pokhara and enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas from the right side of the plane. Upon arrival in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city, you will be greeted with magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, the five peaks of Annapurna, and others. After a brief rest, drive to Nayapul to begin your trek. The journey takes you through sub-tropical valley forests, often along trails carved into the cliffs. After lunch, cross the Bhurungdi Khola (river) via a bridge to reach the village of Tikhedhunga. The Ulleri Hill, with its thousands of steps and boulders ascending continuously, will test your stamina. Arrive in Ulleri by late afternoon and spend the night there.

      After breakfast, we ascend to Ghorepani village. In Nepali, Ghorepani means โ€™horse-water,โ€™ named for its historical role as a vital campsite for traders before becoming a popular stop for trekkers. This charming village features small shops and stalls selling local products and crafts. Ghorepani is divided into two sections: one situated on a saddle and the other a few hundred feet lower. We stop at the higher part to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including Annapurna South and Nilgiri. As Ghorepani is significantly higher than our previous stop, the chilly weather becomes noticeable, especially in the evenings. We spend the night in Ghorepani.

      To catch the sunrise over the Himalayas, we embark on an early morning climb along the steep trail to the viewpoint at Poon Hill (3,210m/10,529ft), the most popular trekking destination in the Annapurna region. From this vantage point, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mustang, Pokhara, and over 20 of the highest mountains, including close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The snowy peaks of these majestic mountains loom above and around us, glowing in the morning light. After capturing photographs and enjoying some coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, we return to Ghorepani. Following breakfast, we head east, climbing a nearby ridge before descending through rhododendron forests. Along the way, we pass by spectacular waterfalls and reach Tadapani, where we will spend the night.

      From Tadapani, we make a steep descent through a dense and dark forest, trekking through a thick canopy of ancient rhododendron trees. When in bloom, these forests transform into stunning gardens. Depending on the travel season, we may also witness cherry blossoms adorning the slopes on the opposite side of the ravine by afternoon. After a few more minutes, we enter the village of Ghandruk, a hillside settlement with stone houses primarily inhabited by the Gurung community. Here, while enjoying the breathtakingly close views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains, you can also immerse yourself in the rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk.

      Today, we trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul before driving back to Pokhara. The trek is entirely downhill, leading us to Birethanti. We will follow a stone slab-paved staircase that winds through the village and terraced farms, descending continuously from Ghandruk to the Modi Khola river valley. From Birethanti, a half-hour walk brings us to Nayapul, where our trekking journey concludes. We will then drive back to Pokhara for an overnight stay.(Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

      During the 40-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (9,186 ft), you will experience one of the most stunning air routes in the world, culminating in a landing on a hillside surrounded by high mountain peaks. Lukla, the gateway to your trek, is where youโ€™ll meet the rest of our crew and begin packing and organizing your gear.


      From Lukla, we start our trek with a gradual descent lasting about an hour until we reach Cheplung village. Here, youโ€™ll catch a glimpse of Mount Khumbila (18,900 ft), a sacred mountain that has never been climbed. From Cheplung, we continue our descent until we reach Phakding, where we will spend the night.

      After breakfast, weโ€™ll embark on a scenic walk through lush pine forests, following the Dudh Koshi River until we reach Namche Bazaar. As we trek, weโ€™ll enjoy views of the shimmering Mount Thamserku (6,608m) on our right and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of pine, fir, and juniper woodlands. On clear days, we might even catch a glimpse of Mount Everest peeking over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. Our journey will involve crossing five suspension bridges, including the Hillary Bridge, which is the highest and final bridge we cross. From Hillary Bridge, the path to Namche Bazaar becomes an uphill climb. Upon arrival, weโ€™ll find ourselves at the gateway to Mount Everest and the main trading hub of the region. Weโ€™ll spend the night in Namche Bazaar.

      Descend to the Dudhkoshi River, passing through picturesque villages along the way. Follow a forest trail that leads to a riverbed. From there, ascend for about two more hours through pine and fir forests to reach the quaint village of Tengboche. This village is renowned for the Tengboche Monastery, perched at 3,867 meters and the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Explore the monastery and take in stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Tawache, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Everest. Overnight stay in Tengboche.

Along the way, you might spot mountain goats, snow leopards, and vibrant scenery. After passing a Chorten, youโ€™ll arrive at an army camp in Namche Bazaar, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Continue your trek with a steady descent, crossing several bridges before reaching Monjo for an overnight stay.

The climb from Chauri Kharka is the final climb of the trek. As the local staff you met in Lukla will not be accompanying you to Kathmandu, today is last day you celebrate your accomplishment together. Overnight in Lukla.
