This is a partially guided tour, meaning you will not always be assisted by a guide to ensure you have plenty of free time to explore Egypt by yourself. Where there is a guide, you will be assisted by a qualified English-speaking Egyptologist guide, you will also have the service of the captain and crew on board your Nile Cruise.

As we have travellers from all over the world, flights before and after the tour are not included in the tour price and you need to arrange these separately by yourself once your tour is guaranteed. As we specialise in organising the best tours around the world for you, we are unable to advise on flight prices or book flights on your behalf. We recommend that you do not book your flights until your place on the tour has been confirmed.

Day 1 Arrive In Cairo

Upon arrival, a representative will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy Cairo! Please meet with your guide in the evening who will give you a briefing about what to expect over the next few days of your tour package.
Day 2 Giza Tour And Travel To Aswan

Giza Tour And Travel To Aswan

After breakfast, check out from your Cairo hotel. Your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned van.

You will be taken to enjoy an excursion to the Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus). Next is a visit to the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates back to the time of King Chephren. Today this tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Next up you will head to the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser.

Afterwards you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then travel to Memphis, which was founded by King Menes and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years as the first capital of Egypt. Here you will see the Statue of Ramses II. Once our time comes to an end in Memphis we’ll take the overnight bus to Aswan (bus journey is approx. 12 hours).

Please note you can upgrade your overnight bus to:

a sleeper train for approx. US$90 per person, or

a domestic flight for approx. US$150 USD per person.

Day 3 Aswan - Philae - Aswan

Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be met and assisted by our representative to transfer you to your Nile Cruise ship - your floating hotel for your next 4 days. After lunch, you will be taken to visit the High Dam, the world’s largest rock filled dam, and be treated to a visit to the Philea Temple. After your visit, we’ll take you back to your cruise ship where dinner will be served and you can enjoy the night onboard.
Day 4 Aswan- Kom Ombo

Aswan- Kom Ombo

It’s a new day and your first breakfast on board is served as the boat sails majestically towards Kom Ombo. You will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. After the visit, you will be taken back to the ship for your Dinner.

Note: The Cruise starts sailing at 02:00 pm,
Day 5 Visit Edfu Temple, Reach Luxor.

According to the arranged pick-up time, you will be met with your tour guide who will pick you up and transfer you by a traditional transportation of the city Varrage with hours to Edfu temple, you will explore the Temple of Huras, then you will be taken back to the cruise to enjoy the rest of the day on board. around 3:00 pm you will enjoy the experience of crossing the lock of Esna where the cruise will cross Esna Lock.
Day 6 Luxor Visit, Travel To Hurghada.

Luxor Visit, Travel To Hurghada.

After breakfast on board, you will disembark your cruise ship where your guide will meet you. It’s time to Explore Luxor before traveling to Hurghada by bus, once you arrive you will check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day on this stunning Red Sea coast.

You will visit in Luxor the below sights:

The Valley of Kings where you will see 3 tombs from inside.

The mostuary temple of the queen Hatshipsut.

Memnon Colossi and Karnak temple.
Day 7 Hurghada

Today is a free day to be spent however you like! Perhaps you like relaxing in a small resort, or swimming and snorkelling in the Red Sea? Reach out to us for ideas!

We love Hurghada, and we’re sure you will too which is why we have another free day here! In the evening, you will meet up with your guide where we will check out and travel back to Cairo.

Today we have a great day planned in Cairo visiting some of the most important sites of the city! We will visit the Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque and Coptic Cairo. You’ll also enjoy lunch today and have the rest of the day free to enjoy the last night of your tour.
