      After breakfast, your private guide will meet you at your hotel and head to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. If you are interested, you could opt to get inside of the Great Pyramid for its mysterious burial chamber at an extra entrance fee payable on the spot.  Later you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. Then you will enjoy a relaxing experience of a felucca ride on the River Nile, where you can discover the amazing view of Cairo and enjoy the sunset.       After breakfast, you will be escorted to Cairo airport to take a morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, your private guide will be waiting to take you to explore Aswan. You will visit the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae, which has been rebuilt on Agilkia Island after the construction on the high Dam and was devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. Then your tour in Aswan will end with the visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows how the pharos constructed the magnificent obelisks. Later, you will be transferred to board your cruise ship.       In the early morning, you will depart to Abu Simbel by an air-conditioned vehicle. On arrival, you will have a guided tour of the Temples of Abu Simbel. The colossal Temple of Abu Simbel was built by Ramses II and lately saved from the inundation of the Nile waters among the glories of ancient Egyptian monuments. The temples were built out of a sandstone rock cliff, and representation of the deities to which each was dedicated is carved on its huge facade. Nearby, also saved, lies the small Temple of the Kingโ€™s wife Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Then your driver will take you back to Aswan for your check-in at the Nile Cruise. Your cruise ship will pass through Kom Ombo to Edfu. On the way you will disembark to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a dual temple including Sobek Temple and Temple of Haroeris. Upon arrival in Edfu, you will enjoy another shore excursion to the Edfu Temple, also known as Temple of Horus, which is the second largest temple in Egypt.       In the morning, you will be taken to Alexandria. On arrival, your guided tour will start at Pompey's Pillar, which was constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then you will visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, which is the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afterward, you will proceed to see the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was built on the site of the ancient Light House of Alexandria. Your next stop is the famous Bibliotheca Alexandrina (New Alexandria Library). Finishing the visit, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Cairo.
