We cross by motorboat, then taking a walk around the village, we have the opportunity to mingle as we watch the sunset over the great sand dunes. GBP 65Temples of Abu SimbelAbu Simbel, possibly the most awe-inspiring temples of ancient Egypt, is made up of the Temple of Ramses โ and Queen Nefertari, cut out of the sandstone cliffs above the Nile River, located approximately 280km south of Aswan, near the Sudanese boarder. The temple was built between 1274 & 1244 BC by the king himself. Guarding the entrance to the temple, four colossal statues of Ramses โ sit magically staring out across the dessert, each standing 20 meters high.
