      Arrival in Cairo

      You arrive at Cairo International Airport (CAI) where you are greeted by our representative, who will be holding a sign, and will assist you with the formalities before going through immigration.

      You take the transfer to your hotel to meet the guide for a briefing that explains the itinerary of the trip. Tonight you rest in Cairo.

      Note: The flight from Mexico City to Cairo is included, it can have up to 2 stopovers and it leaves between 1 and 2 days prior to arrival in the city. Detailed flight information (airline, route, date and time) will be provided no later than 7 days before the experience begins.

  • Day 2 Cairo - Luxor

      After breakfast, you begin your tour by visiting the impressive Pyramids and Sphinx on the Giza plateau.

      Have the opportunity to enter the main pyramid, Cheops, and discover its narrow interior in an unforgettable tour of approximately 20 minutes. (Entrance fee not included).

      The pyramids of Mycerinos and Chephren can only be seen from the outside and together, with Cheops they form an iconic Egyptian landscape.

      Then head to Sakkara to visit the Step Pyramid (the first completed pyramid in Egypt) as well as the ancient tombs of the pharaoh.

      You have time for lunch between 1 pm and 3 pm (not included).

      Arrival in Luxor. You will be met by the tour representative and transferred to your hotel.

      Continue the day with a tour of the immense Temple of Karnak, considered by some to be the most important site in Egypt and the most powerful place in the country.

      Visit the magnificent Temple of Luxor, where visitors are greeted by the impressive Avenue of the Sphinxes. Overnight at your hotel in Luxor.

      After breakfast, explore Luxor, beginning the tour with the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the richest archaeological site in the world.

      Then you continue to the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir al-Bahri), built for the only woman to reign over Egypt as pharaoh. Finally, you visit the great Colossi of Memnon, the last remains of the temple of Amenophis III.

      Arrive in Cairo where you are transferred to your hotel. Today you tour the capital of Egypt, starting with the Egyptian Museum, where you can see the treasures from the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

      From there you head to the Coptic area of Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, so named because it is suspended over two Roman gate towers. Then you visit the Mohammed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, which sits majestically on top of the Saladin Citadel.

      Then head to Cairo's ancient Bazaar, Khan El Khalili, with its maze of intriguing alleyways housing numerous souvenir stalls and cafes.
