Embark on an unforgettable tour of Egypt as we begin with a visit to the illustrious Giza Plateau, where the world-renowned Great Pyramids of Egypt await. As we explore the plateau, we’ll also get up close with the iconic Sphinx, the legendary guardian of the pyramids.

Continuing our journey, we’ll visit Memphis, the ancient capital of the kingdom, where we’ll marvel at the impressive statue of Ramses II. From there, we’ll proceed to Sakkara, where we’ll witness the magnificent Step Pyramid, a testament to the ingenuity and architectural brilliance of the ancient Egyptians.

In the morning, we’ll make our way to Cairo airport for an early flight to Luxor, where our adventure continues. Our first stop is the West Bank of the Nile, where we’ll marvel at the impressive Colossi of Memnon. Next, we’ll explore the ancient Pharaonic tombs located in the renowned Valley of the Kings, a dusty landscape steeped in history and mystique. We’ll also pay a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and admire the vibrant hieroglyphics at the Medinat Habu temple before crossing back into Luxor.

You’ll have the freedom to spend your afternoon as you please, whether it’s taking in the sights and sounds of Luxor’s bustling markets or simply unwinding on the deck of your luxurious 5-star Nile cruise boat. Later in the evening, we’ll embark on a walking tour of the stunning Luxor Temple, which is beautifully illuminated at night, providing a truly enchanting experience.

( Optional Excursion ) Experience the beauty of a spectacular sunrise from a hot air balloon as we take flight over the West Bank of the Nile this morning. After a delicious breakfast, we’ll begin our tour of Luxor with a visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak temple complex, featuring towering columns and numerous impressive temples and structures. This magnificent site serves as a testament to Luxor’s well-deserved reputation as the largest open-air museum in the world.

In the afternoon, our luxurious Nile cruise boat will set sail up the Nile, passing through the lock at Esna en route to Edfu, where we’ll spend the night. Please note that while we strive to adhere to the itinerary, Nile cruise boat schedules are subject to minor adjustments along the way.

After enjoying a delectable breakfast, we’ll head to the nearby Edfu Temple, a fascinating structure dedicated to the god Horus. We’ll then continue our journey upriver towards Kom Ombo, taking in the sights and sounds of traditional rural Egyptian life along the banks of the Nile. Take some time to relax and unwind, perhaps with a refreshing dip in the plunge pool on the boat’s sun deck.

Upon arrival at Kom Ombo, we’ll tour the stunning temple that sits serenely by the Nile, home to mummified crocodiles and other fascinating artifacts. Our luxurious Nile cruise will then continue onward to Aswan, where more adventures await.

Start your day with an optional visit to the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage site of Abu Simbel, where you can explore the awe-inspiring temples built by Ramses II. Departing early in the morning, we’ll aim to catch the breathtaking sight of the rising sun over the temples. If you choose not to visit Abu Simbel, you’ll have the morning free to enjoy at your leisure.

Our tours in Aswan include a visit to the beautiful island temple complex of Philae, which we’ll reach by boat. This stunning temple remains one of Egypt’s most charming and picturesque sites, having been relocated entirely following the construction of the Dam. We’ll also witness the impressive Aswan High Dam, built to create Lake Nasser and an engineering marvel in its own right.

We’ll begin the day by transferring to Aswan airport for a flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a tour of the city starting with a visit to the world-renowned Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities. Accompanied by a certified Egyptologist, you’ll explore the various halls, each highlighting a different historical period of this ancient civilization. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, or take an optional half-day tour to discover the old churches and synagogues of Coptic Cairo, visit the Citadel with its stunning views of the city, and explore the charming narrow streets of the Khan-el-Khalili bazaar. As the day draws to a close, you may opt for a delightful dinner cruise on the Nile to cap off your unforgettable Egyptian adventure.
