Before the tour: All passengers traveling to Egypt must have a negative PCR test with a QR code or an accepted vaccination certificate. A Health Declaration form should be available on all international flights and filled out by the passengers before boarding the flight (at the departure airport) and delivered to the quarantine authorities upon arrival. While on tour, Wearing face masks is mandatory. We will provide face masks and hand sanitizers to tourists and their companions. All staff members are trained and educated on symptoms and necessary preventive measures. related to COVID-19. The temperatures of staff members are checked daily. Tourist groups shall not exceed 25 people (until further notice). Tour guides must wear face masks and use wireless microphones inside museums. Headphones are sterilized after each use. Disinfection of archaeological sites and museums is carried out daily. Physical distancing is maintained during visits to museums and archaeological sites. The maximum number of visitors allowed inside museums and indoor archaeological sites is: Two hundred visitors per hour in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and 100 visitors per hour in other museums There are 10โ€“15 visitors inside any pyramid or tomb (depending on its dimensions). At accommodation: Guests will have their temperatures checked daily. Luggage is disinfected before check-in. Floor signs are placed to maintain physical distance. Electronic payment is encouraged. The room capacity is two adults and two children (less than 12 years old). Personal Protection Kits (containing personal protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers) are provided in the rooms for each guest. Rooms and bathrooms are adequately ventilated and disinfected daily.

      The representative of Your Egypt Tours will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, then easily handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area, and customs formalities. Then move to your Cairo hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

  • Day 2 Giza & Memphis

      Begin luxury holidays to Egypt, feel relaxed with your guide, and enjoy an excursion to the Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then visit the ancient capital of Memphis and the oldest pyramid in Egypt, known as the Step Pyramid at Sakkara. Overnight in Cairo.

      After breakfast in the hotel, proceed to visit Cairoโ€™s famous Egyptian Museum houses 165,000 Egyptian artifacts, but the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun are the highlights. His six gilded coffins dominate the main hall, while his magnificent death mask is the star attraction. Moreover, discover the Citadel of Salah el-Din, where Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque stays, continuing to Khan el Khalili Bazaars. Enjoy free time to stroll through the maze of streets and try your luck bargaining with the shop owners for a souvenir of your trip to Egypt.

      Enjoy a day tour to the second capital of Egypt, Alexandria, visiting Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandriaโ€™s ancient lighthouse. Then move on to the new and much-acclaimed Alexandria Library. Also, visit the Roman cemetery cut out of the rock, the Catacomb. Overnight in Alexandria.

      Note: The library of Alexandria is closed on Fridays and Saturdays

  • Day 5 El Alamein

      Your tour guide will pick you up from the hotel. After that, you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to relish a day trip to El Alamein, approximately 110 Km away from Alexandria. Proceed to World War II remains and cemeteries ( WW II Cemetery). El Alamein Battle was one of the most significant confrontations of this War. Your first stop will be at the Military Museum, including displays of weapons, military garb, and tanks. Descriptions of the actions of Montgomery, Rommel, and the others who participated in the battle are also on display. Lunch break, then visit the WW II Cemeteries, located west of the town, on a small peninsula overlooking the sea. The citadel-like cemeteries are the final resting place for Commonwealth, Greek, Italian, and German soldiers. Drive back to Cairo, and drop off at the hotel.

      Fly south to Luxor, formerly known as Thebes. Upon arrival, visit the Temple of Karnak, featuring 134 great columns that once supported an enormous roof. Board your luxurious home on the Nile for the next seven nights in time for lunch. This afternoon, explore the Temple of Luxor, built by Amenhotep III (1405-1367 BC). This evening, gather for a complimentary cocktail and canapรฉs, followed by dinner.

  • Day 7 West Bank & Esna (Cruise)

      Rise early this morning for an exhilarating hot air balloon ride over the Nile and the temples that line its shores (optional). Proceed to the West Bank, starting at the fabled Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues of Amenhotep III. Then, in the Valley of the Queens, explore the tomb of Queen Nefertari (optional), said to be the finest tomb in Egypt. The dayโ€™s explorations also include Deir el-Medina, an excavated village of craftsmen and artisans founded by Amenhotep I, who contributed to the creation of tombs in the nearby valleys of the Kings and Queens. Return to your cruise for lunch and sail to Esna.

  • Day 8 Edfu (Cruise)

      Cruise upstream to Edfu, where you will visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus (the falcon god). This afternoon, learn to prepare local dishes during Chefโ€™s Table experience with an onboard chef. Join the party tonight and dress up in traditional Egyptian Galabeya. Sit down to a lavish buffet of Egyptian specialties, followed by Arabic music and dancing.

  • Day 9 Cruising Aswan

      Disembark in Aswan to visit the granite quarries that supplied stone for many of Egyptโ€™s pyramids and temples. View the 1,200-ton โ€˜Unfinished Obelisk,โ€™ which exemplifies the technique used to create such enormous monoliths. Then, boat to the island of Agilika to view the exquisite Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Later this afternoon, sail by felucca (traditional sailing vessel), weather permitting, around Elephantine Island and view the splendid Aga Khan Mausoleum, which overlooks the river.

  • Day 10 Abu Simbel (Optional)

      Travel to Abu Simbel (optional), the site of the magnificent temple of Ramses II, and marvel at the four enormous statues of the pharaoh that grace its faรงade, each over 60 feet high. Amazingly, the site has raised the hillside to avoid floodwaters caused by the Aswan High Dam project. Then, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Aswan to return to your ship.

      Relax on board or explore a local Aswan spice market this morning. Have lunch while you cruise to Kom Ombo. Disembark for a walking visit to this lovely Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god), whom some ancient Egyptians considered the worldโ€™s creator. View the mummified remains of several crocodiles that once basked along the old Nile shore, just as their descendants do today. Partake in a Scenic Sundowner as you cruise toward Esna.

  • Day 12 Luxor (Cruise)

      Return to the west bank of the Nile this morning. Begin at the terraced funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egyptโ€™s first female pharaoh. Continue to the famous Valley of the Kings. Enter the iconic tomb of Tutankhamun (optional). Go off the beaten path to one of Luxorโ€™s lesser-known sites, the New Kingdom necropolis Dra Abu Naga. After lunch and afternoon tea aboard the ship, visit the Luxor Museum, browsing its fascinating collections. Your final dinner on board is a gala affair.

      Disembark your cruise and return to Cairo. This afternoon, enjoy one of these Design Your Day activities.

      • Discover Coptic Cairo, visiting a church built where the Holy Family stayed and other Christian sites.
      • Tour Islamic Cairo, including the lively Muizz Street and Sultan Hassan mosque.
      • Sail on a Felucca, experiencing Cairo from a different perspective.

      The remainder of your day is at leisure.
