Before Tour: All passengers traveling to Egypt MUST have a negative PCR test with QR code or Accepted Vaccination certificate with QR. A Health Declaration form should be available on all the international flights and filled by the Passengers before boarding the flight (at the departure airport) and delivered to The Quarantine Authorities upon arrival. During Tour: Wearing face masks is mandatory. We will provide face masks & hand sanitizers to tourists and their companions. All staff members are trained and educated on symptoms and necessary preventive measures related to COVID-19. The temperature of staff members is checked daily. Tourist groups shall not exceed 25 people (until further notice). Tour guides must wear face masks and use wireless microphones inside museums. Headphones are sterilized after each use. Disinfection of archaeological sites and museums is carried out daily. Physical distancing is maintained during visits to museums and archaeological sites. The maximum number of visitors allowed inside museums and indoor archaeological sites is: Two hundred visitors per hour in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and 100 visitors per hour in other museums. 10 - 15 visitors inside any pyramid or tomb (depending on its dimensions). At accommodation: Guests will have their temperatures checked daily. Luggage is disinfected before check-in. Floor signs are placed on maintaining physical distancing. Electronic payment is encouraged. The room capacity is two adults + 2 children (less than 12 years old). Personal Protection Kits (containing personal protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers) are provided in rooms for each guest. Rooms and bathrooms are adequately ventilated and disinfected daily.

  • Day 2 Giza Pyramids And Sphinx

      Giza Pyramids And Sphinx

      Today, we visit the legendary pyramids and iconic Sphinx at Giza Plateauโ€”the only survivor from the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. Gaze in awe at the largest of the three great pyramids โ€“ Cheops, constructed from over 2.3 million limestone blocks. It took more than 20 years to complete. We explore this area on foot and then on the back of a camel! Off we ride into the sands, our sturdy ships of the desert beneath us! Enjoy a panoramic view of the whole area at the end of the tour. Explore the great Sphinx and the valley temple.

  • Day 3 City Tour

      City Tour

      Today, we venture in search of the treasures of King Tutankhamun, mummies, and thousands of artifacts of the different eras at the Egyptian Museum. Later we tour the Islamic Citadel of Saladin and the mosque of Mohamed Ali. We were watching people go about their daily life. We conclude the day with a market walk through the bustling Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Time to freshen up; this evening, we take the comfortable overnight sleeper train to Aswan.

      This morning we arrive in Aswan and explore the Nubian city on a guided walk of the local market and souq. Scenically located on the Nile, walking along the riverside corniche to view the many boats is a real treat, as is Aswan bazaar. Free afternoon.

      A free day or opt for the morning air excursion to Abu Simbel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure; maybe relax by the pool, stroll along the Nile corniche, or explore the lively marketplace.

  • Day 6 Soheil Island

      Soheil Island

      Aswan โ€“ Luxor. This morning we board a motor boat and cruise in and around the islands on the Nile before stopping at Seheil Island island, where we visit a local village and school (if open); sometimes, there is even a local football game. Lunch will be served in the home of an Egyptian family, followed by the train north to Luxor, one of the worldโ€™s most excellent open-air museums. The 4000-year-old site of ancient Thebes, known today as Luxor, is our base for the next three days.

  • Day 7 East Bank Of Luxor

      East Bank Of Luxor

      Today we visited Karnak Temple. More than a temple, Karnak is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, pylons, figurines, and obelisks. Karnak is probably Egyptโ€™s finest ancient temple, built on a grand scale. This afternoon is free to wander along Luxorโ€™s historic waterfront. This evening, we travel in horse-drawn carriages to the illuminated Temple of Luxor, where we enjoy a tour in the cool evening air.

  • Day 8 West Bank Of Luxor

      West Bank Of Luxor

      Today, we visit Luxorโ€™s legendary West Bank โ€“ home to the famous Valleys of the Kings, the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the gigantic Colossi of Memnon. See how the ancient Egyptians confounded tomb robbers by constructing elaborate catacombs, once filled with treasures and highly decorated to allow the pharaoh passage to the afterlife. Tonight, we return to Cairo by sleeper train.

  • Day 9 Free Day In Cairo

      Free Day In Cairo

      Arriving in Cairo this morning, the rest of the day is free to explore Africaโ€™s largest city. Optional tours are available, or you can spend the day around the pool. Perhaps head out, research, and take the family for a nice lunch at one of the cityโ€™s many excellent restaurants.
