  • Day 1 Arrival In Buenos Aires

      Arrival In Buenos Aires

      Welcome to Buenos Aires! We will pick you up at Buenos Aires Airport and then transfer to the hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the city by your own. 

      At night a transfer will pick us up to enjoy an typical dinner experience where we will learn about the Argentine culture, taste fantastic local dishes, drink exceptional wine, and mingle with fellow travelers in a fun setting. This is a five main course dinner which includes: 

      Welcome: Wine- base cocktail and a Patagonia trout tartar.

      Empanadas: You will learn how to make your own empanadas. Fillings are beef stew or capresse (cheese mozzarella and provolone, roasted cherries tomatoes and basil)

      Picada: Typical Argentine cuts of meat to nibble. 

      Main Course: 200 grs of tenderloin accompanied by roasted vegetables 

      Desserts: Tasting of sweets and cheeses. 

      Mate tasting and alfajores class dulce de leche mousse. 

      After dinner we go back to our hotel.

      Today you will enjoy a fantastic introduction to Buenos Aires:

      This tour offers the perfect balance between driving and light walking, which will allow you to get a great overview of the city’s most iconic areas and districts in just half of a day, and at the same time have the possibility to get off the vehicle, and walk around and have a deeper understanding of the key locations within Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo, La Boca neighborhood, and many other attractions. This is a great introduction to some of the key highlights of Buenos Aires, perfect for giving you a chance to find your way around and decide where to spend more time later on. Then we go back to our hotel.

      At night a transfer will pick you up to enjoy a dinner tango show in one of the most prestigious dance venues of Buenos Aires. Located in the heart of San Telmo, Buenos Aires old quarter, this show features over 30 artists on stage with a live orchestra that will leave you speechless.

      Entering the building is like traveling back in time: it used to be an old tenement house, and the interior is very well preserved. Featuring both tango and folklore, La Ventana is one of the most complete shows Buenos Aires has to offer. Then we go back to our accommodation.

      After breakfast free day to visit the city.

      We recommend to do a Gaucho day tour to an Argentinian Ranch (Optional tour - non included) where you will be able to explore the countryside of Buenos Aires and learn all about the gauchos and ranch life on the Pampas in an exciting full-day tour that includes visits to a historical rural town and silversmith museum, visits to a ranch, loads of food and wine, dancing, horseback-riding, gaucho horse skills display, and convenient pick-up and drop-off at your hotel.

  • Day 4 Buenos Aires - Iguazú - Visit Brazilian Side Of The Falls

      Buenos Aires - Iguazú - Visit Brazilian Side Of The Falls

      After breakfast transfer to Buenos Aires Airport to take the flight to our next destination: Iguazu. Arrival at Iguazu Airport and then transfer to our accommodation. 

      In the afternoon, we will visit the Brazilian side of the Falls. Once we get to the Visitors Centre, we board a Panoramic Bus and get across the jungle to the Falls. From there we walk, getting magnificent views of the Argentinean Falls and the Isle of San Martín. We end up in Brazilian’s Floriano Fall. Then we go back to our hotel.

  • Day 5 Visit Argentinian Side Of The Falls

      Visit Argentinian Side Of The Falls

      Today we will get up early to start the visit to the Argentinian Side of the Falls. Upon arrival we will visit: Devil’s Throat Circuit: The astonishing beauty and energy of the sight thrill everyone, an exciting mixture of views and sounds. The Upper circuit, with magnificent panoramic views offers the smaller falls and islands of the Iguazu River delta.

      And the Lower circuit, strategically located walkways and bridges allow us a charming and intimate touch with nature, having different views of the falls from below. Then we will go along 8 km route in all-terrain vehicle along the Yacaratiá Trail, to Puerto Macuco. Once we arrive, we will get on board in semi-rigid gomones navigating 6 kilometers. Then, we will entrance to the Canyon of the Devil’s Throat with approximation to the jumps and disembarkation in the Island San Martin, heart of the Iguazú Waterfalls. Then we go back to our hotel.

      Optional excursion recommended: “The Great Adventure”

      Starting from the Operative Central or from the Visitor Center, you will enter the jungle through the narrow Yacaratiá Trail in units designed for this particular environment. This 5 km vehicular route culminates in the Puerto Macuco jungle base.

      After descending 100 meters you will arrive at the dock where you can board the boats with which you will go up 6 km up the Lower Iguazú river gorge towards the waterfall area enjoying the mighty rapids, to the base of the Tres Mosqueteros waterfall, watching the set of Brazilian waterfalls Argentines, with the Devil’s Throat crowning the view of the canyon.

      Later, you will reach the maximum point of emotion when facing the incomparable Salto San Martín, second in size and the largest that a boat can approach. To finish, we will disembark at the dock located in front of San Martín Island from where you can rejoin the walkway system, through the Lower Circuit. 

  • Day 6 Puerto Iguazú - El Calafate

      Puerto Iguazú - El Calafate

      According to your flight schedule, you will be picked up at your hotel to go to the airport. Upon arrival in El Calafate you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this city in south Patagonia.

      Lago Argentino is the third largest lake in South America, surrounded by mountains and nourished by giant glaciers, this lake never ceases to amaze its own and strangers for its immensity and special colour.

      It is an excursion in 4×4 along the coast of Lake Argentino. Ideal for the day of arrival or departure, it has an anthropological approach, making a tour at the time about the passing of man in these lands, rediscovering the stories of the first expeditions and daring that ventured into the unknown.

      Between the cliffs and overlooking the Andes Mountains, the excursion focuses on the first contacts of those expeditionaries with the natives, and then enter the Tehuelche world.

      On the banks of the lake are the caves where thousands of years ago that culture left its marks on the rock and that today induce us to its interpretation. Finally, the excursion culminates in another cave where lunch or dinner is included that will transport us to those remote years. 

  • Day 7 Perito Moreno Glacier With Safari Nautico Boat Trip

      Perito Moreno Glacier With Safari Nautico Boat Trip

      It is a full day excursion which consists of sightseeing of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

      We will depart from El Calafate, go round the southern bank of Lago Argentino, past Bahia Redonda, where a great variety of avifauna can be seen. We will go along the Patagonic steppe during the first 40 km, and then enter Los Glaciares National Park, which is plenty of trees that are typical of this region such as the ones belonging to the family of Nothofagus (ñires, lengas, cohiues) and others such as calkers, notros and cinnamon trees.

      Then we will go to “Bajo de las Sombras” port (at only 7 Km from the walkways), where we will get on board a ship to enjoy a  40-minute navigation from where we will able to see amazing views of Perito Moreno Glacier, an unforgettable experience.  At that point, you’ll also enjoy different and intense shades of blue and white colors, with capricious forms. After than we start our way back to El Calafate.

  • Day 8 El Calafate

      El Calafate

      After breakfast the rest of the day is at leisure to do any of the optional tours that El Calafate has to offer us. We recommend a full visit to El Chalten (Optional tour - non included), an unique small village at the foot of Fitz Roy.

      Optional Excursion Recommended: Full Day Chalten

      The excursion begins at 7.00 hs from El Calafate. We take the mythic Route 40, that goes along the Argentino Lake up to La Leona river. We will pass by the canyon with the same name ,Cañadón La Leona, and after 1.15 h ride we will arrive to the ancient route hotel "La Leona", almost a museum of the Route 40, where you can have coffee and cakes.

      Our trip continues along the Lake Viedma, from where we will have magical views of glaciers, hidden lakes and the overpowering presence of the Mount Fitz Roy. We will make some photo stops at the viewpoint of the Viedma Glacier and Lake and after a 3 h ride we will arrive to this andean village called, The Capital of the Trekking. As soon as we arrive at El Chalten we make another stop at the National Park Interpretation Centre. 

      The excursion begins at 7.00 hs from El Calafate. We take the mythic Route 40, that goes along the Argentino Lake up to La Leona river.   • Day 9 El Calafate - Buenos Aires

      At the indicated time we transfer to El Calafate airport to take our flight back to Buenos Aires. 

      Upon arrival a transfer will be waiting for us to take us to the hotel.
