Itinerary of your trip Gauchos, Falls And Wine

  • Day 1 Day 1: Welcome To Buenos Aires
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 1: Welcome To Buenos Aires

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day to enjoy at your own pace (private service - guide included).

Buenos Aires is a marvelous, furious, cosmopolitan city, full of plenty of colours and different kind of architecture. Capital of Argentina and described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires proudly embraces this title, as well as showing off plenty of its own culture! Argentines are usually eager to host visitors: if you walk the streets with a map, someone will surely stop and ask if you need directions. Thatโ€™s our spirit! So, for this first day, be free to wander the cobblestone streets lined with outdoor cafes, enjoy the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open โ€œparrillaโ€ (barbecue), and browse the local antique and artisan markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping. And to travel deeper and have a firm grip of the Argentine spirit, find the perfect leather jacket or handbag (Buenos Aires is home to some excellent local designers) and explore the colorful Palermo Soho neighborhoods.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Buenos Aires City Tour & Tango Show
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 2: Buenos Aires City Tour & Tango Show

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel to enjoy our City Tour (shared service). Over the course of a half day you will have the chance to visit the historical and political centre of the city; San Telmo with its cobblestone streets, La Boca where Buenos Aires turns colorful and tango is ever present, and the chic and aristocratic Recoleta, where the big palaces remind us that Buenos Aires was once the Paris of the South.

In the evening you will go on your own from your hotel to one of Buenos Airesโ€™ most emblematic cultural highlightโ€™s; a Dinner and Tango Show offering a spectacular demonstration of the finest local dancing accompanied by delicious Argentine cuisine and all the malbec youโ€™d like (shared service).

At the end of the evening you will be driven back to your hotel.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Farm Day, Gaucho Culture
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 3: Farm Day, Gaucho Culture

Today you will be picked up from your hotel to enjoy an authentic day in the countryside at an exclusive estancia in San Antonio de Areco (shared service). Learn about the gaucho culture and traditions, strolling around the beautiful old streets, museums and ancient pulperรญas (grocery stores) at San Antonio de Areco town before heading to the El Ombรบ.

Once there, enjoy a typical asado (barbecue) before a detox horseback riding in the nature or a relaxing bike ride. For the bons vivants, there is a peaceful swimming pool (only available in summer) and many relaxation areas to take a "siesta" (a nap).

At the end of the day, you will be transfered back to your hotel in Buenos Aires.

Note: For this tour, you need to bring your original passport. In summer, as the pool is available, we recommend that you also bring also a towel and a swimsuit.

Accompanied by expert guides we learn about the production facilities, the different styles of wine-making, the gastronomy and we will have a great wine tasting.

You will visit Maipu or Lujan de Cuyo depending on the operativity of the vineyards.

Maipu is located just 15 minutes from Mendoza city, it is the first viticultural area in Argentina. It was the location chosen by the first European immigrants to continue their most beloved family tradition; winemaking. Here the residents found the perfect climate and soil conditions to maintain their passion, eventually gaining international recognition for the excellence of their wines. In this region, olive-groves and vineyards sit side-by-side, making it the perfect place to enjoy an Argentine wine and olive-oil experience.

Lujan de Cuyo is known as The Cradle of Malbec. Surrounded by gentle hills and over-looked by Americaโ€™s highest mountains, it provides exclusive accommodation options with Lodges and hotels amongst vineyards, fine Restaurants, Spa & Relaxation services and internationally renowned wineries.

At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your hotel with a clear vision of the diversity that the world of wine and the Mendoza landscape enclose.
