      Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day to enjoy at your own pace (private service - guide included).

      Buenos Aires is a marvelous, furious, cosmopolitan city, full of plenty of colours and different kind of architecture. Capital of Argentina and described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires proudly embraces this title, as well as showing off plenty of its own culture! Argentines are usually eager to host visitors: if you walk the streets with a map, someone will surely stop and ask if you need directions. Thatโ€™s our spirit! So, for this first day, be free to wander the cobblestone streets lined with outdoor cafes, enjoy the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open โ€œparrillaโ€ (barbecue), and browse the local antique and artisan markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping. And to travel deeper and have a firm grip of the Argentine spirit, find the perfect leather jacket or handbag (Buenos Aires is home to some excellent local designers) and explore the colorful Palermo Soho neighborhoods.

      We`ll explore the vibrant heart of Buenos Aires on our captivating half-day city tour, starting with convenient pickups in the stylish Palermo Soho district. This journey offers a direct and immersive encounter with the cityยดs essence.


      Our initial destination is Plaza de Mayo, a historic epicentre enveloped by iconic landmarks such as the Casa Rosada (Government House), the awe-inspiring Metropolitan Cathedral, and the storied Cabildo, a relic of Spanish colonial rule. At the opposite end of Avenida de Mayo stands the imposing Congress building, a testament to Argentinaยดs rich political history.

      The journey southward takes us to San Telmo Market, where the cityยดs vibrant energy comes to life. From there, we venture into the birthplace of Tango, La Boca, a kaleidoscope of colors and culture. Along Caminito Street, youยดll encounter talented artists showcasing their mesmerizing Tango-inspired artworks.

      Continuing our exploration, we briefly pause at Puerto Madero, a once-abandoned port district now transformed into a sleek, modern enclave. The contrasts in Buenos Aires landscape are both striking and intriguing.

      Our path then leads us to Palermo, a district adorned with lush parks, including the City Zoo, Botanical Garden, Argentine Horsetrack, and the esteemed National Polo Fields. Here, nature and leisure converge harmoniously.

      To culminate this remarkable journey, we visit Recoleta, one of Buenos Aires; most glamorous neighborhoods, known for its elegant charm and rich history and its Cementery (entrance included) where Eva Peron reast in peace.


      At the end of the tour, weยดll take you back to your hotel.

      Discover the most classic circuit of San Carlos de Bariloche in an active and funny way (semi-private service). Visit the most important viewpoints of the area like Campanario Hill and Llao-Llao Hotel, appreciate the beauty of lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi and the notable mountains of Lopez and Capilla. Off the beaten track and to have the perfect close up for this untraditional city tour, enjoy a nature oriented walk through an impressive native forest on the Llao-Llao Nature Park with stunning views of this charming place.

      Today, Southern Patagonia welcomes you with open arms. El Calafate is a starting point for adventure travelers who desire to unearth the most spellbinding natural wonders of Patagonia, like the Perito Moreno Glacier.

      The Perito Moreno glacier is one of the only glaciers in the world thatโ€™s still advancing. Though itโ€™s not the only glacier in the area, itโ€™s the one that made the city of El Calafate famous worldwide. For many years now, El Calafate has been considered capital of the glaciers. Located at the shore of Lago Argentino (the southernmost, largest Patagonian lake) itโ€™s also home of the Spegazzini glacier, which forms the natural border between Argentina and Chile, and the Upsala glacier, named Glaciar del Gigante (Giantโ€™s glacier) Itโ€™s discovery was the biggest glacier to sit at the mouth of Lake Argentino.  

      Is El Calafate all about the glaciers? Well, yes and noโ€ฆglaciers are main attractions that you can visit via hiking or a boat ride but you have a lot more to discover about Argentine rural culture. From Calafate, you can also visit a typical Patagonian finca (ranch) and learn all about the gaucho (cowboy) culture and enjoy a great asado (barbecue). Youโ€™ll soon realize that Calafate offers more than just being the gateway to the Perito Moreno glacier.  

      Upon arrival at El Calafate, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel (shared service). You will have the rest of the day to relax or explore the surroundings.

      In the morning, weโ€™ll drive you to Glaciers National Park to take the Perito Moreno Glacier tour. Get prepared to play with the giants! (shared service)


      Glaciers National Park has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 and home to 200 glaciers approximately . Half of this park is occupied by the campo de hielo patagรณnico (Patagonian ice field), the largest ice field after Antarctica. You will travel 40 km (about 25 miles) from El Calafate to the park, enjoying the views of the Patagonian steppe. Once inside the park you will take the walkways to explore the different viewpoints, and youโ€™ll feel really close to the Perito Moreno Glacier. If youโ€™re lucky, you may get to see a piece of ice break off and fall from the glacier wall to sink forever into the lake.


      During about one hour, a bilingual guide will provide you with all the information you might want to know, you will also learn about things you might have never thought about! After this visit you will take a boat ride that will take you close enough to fully appreciate the 80 meter (262 feet) high ice walls of Perito Moreno! Youโ€™ll never feel closer to this gigantic and impressive natural masterpiece.

      During the morning you will start your 3 hour long trip to El Chaltรฉn (shared service). Youโ€™ll travel along the famous Route 40, surrounded by the Patagonian steppe, pass through La Leona River, which connects Lake Argentino and Lake Viedma and where stands La Leona Road house, where the famous thieves, Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid hided for a month.


      After discovering other rough gems of this particular landscape, youโ€™ll reach El Chaltรฉn. El Chaltรฉn is the top rated hiking destination in Argentina. This charming little village sits at the foot of Fitz Roy Mountain and itโ€™s surrounded by glaciers, lakes, rivers and forest. Itโ€™s also the jumping-off point for most hiking trails. A paradise for sunny walkers and hikers alike.


      Enjoy your first afternoon of leisure in Patagonia to relax in the local brewery or explore the surrounding areasโ€”Maybe stroll around a little waterfallโ€ฆ

      Today you will have a day at leisure in El Chaltรฉn. Be prepared for an exciting day into the wild! El Chaltรฉn offers a wide range of options of hiking paths of varied difficulty. You can choose where and when to go, since paths are self-guided and very well marked and maintained.


      From the main door of your hotel, you can go for a short 3 kilometres walk to Cerro Torre viewpointโ€”it will take you around 1 hour. Enjoy Rio de las Vueltas and lenga forest amazing views and be prepared to see all kind of birdsโ€”This is great woodpecker spotting opportunity!

      Today you will have a second day at leisure in El Chaltรฉn. For truly hiking lovers, go for the 8 hour long hike to the most impressive view to Fitz Roy Mountain and emerald waters of Laguna de los Tres. Though this hike becomes difficult in the last bit, itโ€™s totally worthy. A little secret: seize the day, wake up early and watch sunrise at the Laguna de los Tres to see Fitz Roy peaks turning redโ€”A lifetime opportunity for nature lovers.

  • Day 11 Day 11: El Chalten / Ushuaia

      Day 11: El Chalten / Ushuaia

      Today you will be transferred from El Chalten to El Calafate Airport (shared service). The 3 hour long driving back will be a good opportunity to rest or just relax enjoying the passing landscape at your window.


      Upon arrival in Ushuaia, you will be transferred to your hotel (shared service). Ushuaia is a small town, really easy to get around on foot. The Yamanas, its first inhabitants, called it Ushuaia which means โ€œprotected bayโ€ in their language. Ushuaia was officially incorporated into the Republic of Argentina in 1884, and it soon became a penal colony, in order to establish a permanent Argentine settlement.

      Take the afternoon to explore the town, learn of the regionโ€™s history at the Prisonerโ€™s Museum or visit the Galleria of Fueguian History (its restaurant is also very nice!). Please, donโ€™t forget the local gastronomy! Ushuaia is the best place to try the best seafood in Argentina.

      Day 12: Trekking & Canoeing In Tierra Del Fuego National Park, Patagonia

      Today weโ€™ll pick you up to make a 8-10 hour long visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, just 12 km away from the city and lying on the shore of the famous Channel sailed by Charles Darwin (shared service).

      Once at Ensenada Bay, you will have time to enjoy the view over the Beagle Channel before start hiking along the coast. Six kilometers of wild trail await you where youโ€™ll discover native flora and wild fauna. Discover the remains left by the Yamanas, the native inhabitants of the รกrea. After this 3 hour hike, you will reach Lake Roca  where lunch will be served.


      After a full homemade picnic you will start the second part of this adventure. Grab your oar and plunge to start a 1 h 30 canoeing trip along Lapataia river (only available for children over 5 years old). Make all the way till Lapataia Bay,  where the Panamerican Highway and National Route 3 ends at an awe-inspiring landscape. After discovering the unique vastness of this forbidding setting, weโ€™ll take you back to your hotel to rest and enjoy another Patagonian evening.

      At the appropriate time, you will go on your own to the tourist pier (located in the center of the city) and enjoy an incredible navigation through the Beagle Channel that will let you appreciate the diversity and charm of the local fauna (shared service).


      During the tour, stops will be made at Isla de los Pรกjaros (Bird Island) - where you can spot a colony of Imperial Cormorants and other native birds such as skuas, southern giant petrels and black-browed albatross - and to Isla de los Lobos (island of Lobos), where South American sea lions of one and two hairs can be spotted. Once in the Les Eclaireurs archipelago, the famous lighthouse can be seen, which also has colonies of Imperial Cormorants and rockers birds in their islets. 


      On our way back, we will stop at Bridges Island to walk a wildlife interpretative path, hear about Yamanโ€™s history (the native inhabitants) and see the largest shelly deposits of the region. During the excursion, you can enjoy a delicious hot chocolate with cookies or try the Mate (strong green tea) the favorite Argentine drink.


      Once we get back to the port, you will make your own way back to your hotel.
