      Welcome to Buenos Aires! We will pick you up at Buenos Aires Airport and then transfer to the hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the city by your own.  We recommend to make a stop at one of the most emblematic cafes here in Buenos Aires: Cafe Tortoni with its french-style, opened in 1858.  Standard Lodging: Hotel Carles or similar in Double / Single Base  Superior Lodging: Hotel Nuss or similar in Double / Single Base  Meals: NULL by We People Travel & Experiences  Optional excursion recommended: โ€œThe Argentine Experienceโ€ At night a transfer will pick you up to enjoy an atypical dinner experience where you will learn about the Argentine culture, taste fantastic local dishes, drink exceptional wine, and mingle with fellow travelers in a fun setting. This is a five main course dinner which includes:  Welcome: Wine- base cocktail and a Patagonia trout tartar. Empanadas: You will learn how to make your own empanadas. Fillings are beef stew or capresse (cheese mozzarella and provolone, roasted cherries tomatoes and basil) Picada: Typical Argentine cuts of meat to nibble.  Main Course: 200 grs of tenderloin accompanied by roasted vegetables  Desserts: Tasting of sweets and cheeses.  Mate tasting and alfajores class dulce de leche mousse.       Today you will be enjoy to enjoy a fantastic introduction to Buenos Aires: In three fun-filled and exciting hours (including pick-up and drop-off times) our team of reliable and professional drivers and very passionate, attentive, informative, knowledgeable, and helpful tour guides with outstanding English skills will tour you in a small group of no more than 12 guests around Buenos Aires city, bringing it to life with their live commentary full of background information, facts and insights that you will not be able to find in any book or travel guide. This tour offers the perfect balance between driving and light walking, which will allow you to get a great overview of the cityโ€™s most iconic areas and districts in just half of a day, and at the same time have the possibility to get off the vehicle, and walk around and have a deeper understanding of the key locations within Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo, La Boca neighborhood, and many other attractions. Located in the heart of San Telmo, Buenos Aires old quarter, this show features over 30 artists on stage with a live orchestra that will leave you speechless. Entering the building is like traveling back in time: it used to be an old tenement house, and the interior is very well preserved. Featuring both tango and folklore, La Ventana is one of the most complete shows Buenos Aires has to offer.       Why not going for a day trip to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay? Located  just a one-hour ferry ride from Buenos Aires across the โ€œde la Plataโ€ River, it is really easy to squeeze in a one day visit from neighbouring Argentina. Originally founded by the Portuguese in the 1600s and named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995, Colonia has become a must-visit destination for all travelers who fancy old historical towns with charming centers. The historic quarter of Colonia del Sacramento rewards those who make the trip with colourful facades, vine-draped shops and palm-fringed boardwalks.  This full-day trip to Colonia from Buenos Aires is the perfect activity to escape for a while from Argentinaโ€™s bustling megapolis and explore Uruguayโ€™s shining star. The tour starts early in the morning as the driver picks you up from your hotel and takes you to Buenos Airesโ€™ ferry station. After going trhough customs (note that passports are required) you board the ferry for a comfortable and pleasant 1 1/2 hours ride across the widest river in the world crossing the international border between Argentina and Uruguay. Upon arrival you meet your guide, and a driver takes you all to the gateway to the historic quarter where your walking tour around Coloniaโ€™s old town begins. During the 2 hours walk, as you get to visit each of the cityโ€™s landmarks, your very passionate, attentive, informative, knowledgeable, and helpful local expert with outstanding English skills takes you on a journey back in time, bringing what you see to life with their live commentary full of background information, facts and insights that you will not be able to find in any book or travel guide. After your tour and with a better sense as to where everything is in the town, you are given free time to explore the town on your own for the remainder of the afternoon or have lunch at one of the many local restaurants.
