      Day 1: Unirea Salt Mine-Peles Castel-Brasov City

Our trip starts in Bucharest and in about hour you will find the Salt Mine-known as the biggest salt mine in Europe, Unique in the country, but also in Europe, Slanic Prahova stands today for one of the most important watering and climatic resorts in Romania. The humidity of the air is circa 50% and the air composition in the mine is richer in sodium ions that have spectacular ameliorative and prophylactic effects, what the breathing deficiencies and diseases are concerned. Also, in the salt mine there have been arranged playing grounds, a sports ground, a room with tables for billiards and a bar room. Peles Castle is located in Sinaia City. The town was named after Sinaia Monastery of 1695, around which it was built. King Carol I of Romania built his summer home, Peleศ™ Castle, near the town in the late nineteenth century. Peles Castle is a masterpiece of German new-Renaissance architecture, considered by many one of the most stunning castles in Europe. Peles Castle was the first European castle entirely lit by electrical current. Stroll around the old Town Hall Square (Piata Sfatului) in Brasov, where you can admire colorfully painted and ornately trimmed baroque structures.Brasov is home to one of the narrowest streets in Europe. The Rope Street (Strada Sforii) is approximately four feet wide and, was initially used as an access route by firefighters.  You will overnight in Brasov in a 3-4 stars hotel.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Libearty Bear Sanctuary-Bran Castle-Bucharest
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Libearty Bear Sanctuary-Bran Castle-Bucharest

After breakfast, we will go to visit Libearty Bear Sanctuary, home to almost 90 rescued brown bears. More than 69 hectares of luxuriant forest with rivers and ponds are now the home of almost 90 brown bears. From 2008 this wild place is occasionally visited but under some strict rules meant to reintegrate the bears in their natural habitat and not to disturb them. Most of the bears in the Sanctuary were rescued from the most miserable and small cages where they were used as a form of entertainment for tourist attractions. This trip will end in the evening, back to Bucharest. Surrounded by an aura of mystery and legend ,Bran Castle owes its fame to its imposing towers and turrets as well as to the myth created around Bram Stocker's Dracula. Surrounded by towers and ramparts, this โ€œpugnacious little fortressโ€, as Queen Marie called it, is a truly stunning castle, especially against the beautiful background dominated by the Carpathian Mountains. Narrow winding stairways lead through some 60 timber rooms, many connected by underground passages, which house collections of furniture, weapons and armor dating from the 14th to the 19th centuries. This trip will end in the evening, back to Bucharest.
