Welcome to take our private China tour with daily departures, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will have a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

Your guide will meet you outside customs at Capital International Airport and transfer you to our carefully selected hotel. As you are going to visit many of the most breathtaking and beautiful sights in the coming days, you have the rest of the day to relax and unwind at the hotel.
Day 2 Beijing

In the morning, we take a stroll around Tiananmen Square. Further north, we reach the Forbidden City, a vast museum showcasing imperial architecture and historical artifacts from the Ming and Qing dynasties from the 14th to early 20th centuries. At noon, we welcome you with a la carte lunch from an excellent local restaurant.

In the afternoon, let’s climb the Drum Tower, located east of downtown Beijing, to have a bird-eye view of the Hutong area below. Your guide will take you on a tour of the narrow Hutongs. Additionally, you will visit a Beijing courtyard and experience paper cutting, a traditional Chinese folk art. An acrobatic show at the Red Theater will be followed to add spice to your today’s trip. After the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 3 Beijing

In the morning, you can enjoy a leisurely hike on the Mutianyu Great Wall. You will take a chair lift up the wall and a toboggan through a run-down - an experience sought by all thrill-seekers who get the chance to visit it. The speed is controlled through a brake, so is the level of your excitement. But if you prefer a more peaceful way to get down, we can arrange for a cable car for you.

To satisfy your noontime hunger, you can buy some fast food at the foot of the Wall with your guide’s help and picnic on the Wall.

In the afternoon, we will go to visit the Temple of Heaven. The emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties offered sacrifices to the God of Heaven here. In 1998, it is listed as world cultural heritage site. Also as a public for the locals, Temple of Heaven has gathered many Tai Chi enthusiasts. You can join in them and feel the magic of Tai Chi.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian By High-Speed Train

Have fun with the kids this morning as they spot the cuddly giant pandas at the Panda Hall, Beijing Zoo. Then proceed to the Summer Palace, the best-preserved royal garden in China. It has integrated the design techniques of classic garden in south China. We will take a boat ride (except in winter) on Kunming Lake to admire the scenery of the Summer Palace.

In the afternoon, your guide will transfer you to take the high speed train to Xi’an. After arriving, the local guide in Xi’an will pick you up and take you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 5 Xian

Today, we will visit the Terracotta Warrior Museum to admire the life-sized underground army of Emperor Qinshihuang. There are three pits, the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall, waiting for you to explore. Pit 1 is the largest, Pit 2 is the center of the most diverse warriors, and Pit 3 is the command center of the entire army. Then your family will have the opportunity to make your own clay warriors at a workshop.

Following is the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a square brick pagoda built to store Buddhist scripts from ancient India. Visit the nearby Grand Tang All Day Mall, a pedestrian street inspired by the cultures of the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD), a golden time in China’s history. If you like, you can try the traditional clothes of Han Nationality. It’s an interesting way to experience traditional Chinese culture.

Day 6 Xi’An To Guilin By Flight

Xi’An To Guilin By Flight

Today’s tour starts at the City Wall Park. Locals love the park because it offers a spacious area for them to do morning exercise, practice Taichi martial art, and dance. Your family can join in them. Next, we will ascend the City Wall and tour it on a bike or by a battery car.

Then visit the Great Mosque and sample local snacks for lunch at the nearby Muslim Bazaar. After that, your guide will transfer you to the airport for a flight to Guilin. Your guide in Guilin will be waiting for you at the airport and then escort you to the well-chosen hotel.

Day 7 Guilin - Yangshuo

Guilin - Yangshuo

You will be picked up from the hotel in the early morning and taken to the wharf. Your guide will accompany you to enjoy a Li River cruise to Yangshuo, while the driver will transport your luggage to the wharf in Yangshuo and wait for you there. Your driver will meet you at Yangshuo after 4 hours. Keep exploring the picturesque countryside of the county by car or bike/tandem. The lunch on the cruise is a simple Chinese box meal.

Day 8 Yangshuo

Yangshuo

In the morning, you can continue to experience the beauty of Yangshuo or follow your guide to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese traditional culture by learning Chinese calligraphy or Kung Fu, which takes 45 minutes to an hour. This afternoon, go on a rafting along the Yulong River, a less picturesque but more peaceful version of the Li River.

Day 9 Guilin To Shanghai By Flight

Guilin To Shanghai By Flight

In the morning, we will take you to visit the Silver Cave, a natural wonder formed by karst force and the largest of its kind in Guilin. Then, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will meet your Shanghai guide at the exit and head to the hotel then.

Day 10 Shanghai

Visit Shanghai Museum, a treasure house of ancient Chinese art. Its main exhibits are bronzeware, ceramics, and calligraphic works. Next stop is Yu Garden. In this classic Chinese garden, you will come across about 40 ancient buildings, including the Sansui Hall, Wanhua Chamber, Jade Rock, etc. The lunch is a la carte, so you can sample the dishes based on your preferences.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Bund to see Western architecture and take a cruise on the Huangpu River to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. We will also be lifted to the 52nd floor of Shanghai Tower to visit Duoyun Bookstore, the highest bookstore in the world. Here, you can read English books or admire a panorama of the Bund area, over a drink we treat you to.
