  • Day 1 Arrival In Beijing

      Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people. 

      ­ 

      Upon your arrival, your guide will be expecting you outside the customs of the airport and transfer you to the already reserved hotel in a comfortable and clean car. For the remainder of the day, you can have a good rest to release the jet lag.

  • Day 2 Beijing

      Your escorted China tour starts form the center of the city - Tiananmen Square. Walking northward across the square, you will reach the Forbidden City. As the world’s largest and best preserved ancient architectural complex of wooden structure, it has over 8,000 pavilions and houses thousands of time-honored treasures.

      For today’s lunch, you will enjoy a la carte Chinese food at one of the best local restaurants.

      After lunch, continue the visit to Yonghe Temple, the best preserved lamasery in Beijing. It has a unique architectural style, integrating Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan. Then tour the Temple of Heaven, the royal altar of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

  • Day 3 Beijing

      Beijing

      Today’s highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall, which boasts its magnificence and natural views. A round-trip cable car ride will be included for easier up and down.

      In the afternoon, we will drive you back to downtown and have a photo stop at the Olympic National Stadium (Bird’s Nest). You will see its splendid appearance at a distance. Then, head directly to Shichahai. We will specially arrange a rickshaw ride there, for you to experience the life of old Beijingers. Passing by the Hutongs and along the lakefront, it will last for around 40 minutes. After, visit one of the well preserved Siheyuan and have a nice talk with the host to learn the life of present Chinese people.

  • Day 4 Beijing - Xian By High-Speed Train

      In the morning, you will visit the Summer Palace, a luxury resort used by the royal family for leisure and entertainment.

      In the afternoon, you will take a high speed train to Xi’an for around 4.5 hours. You are recommended to bring some fruits or snacks, prepare a book or a movie device in order to spend a happy time on the train. Your guide and driver in Xi’an will greet you at the railway station and escort you to the hotel.

  • Day 5 Xian

      Today you will go to the Terracotta Army. The museum not only displays the world-known delicate figures of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses, but also shows visitors an array of precious ancient weapons.  After, your guide will lead you to the home of Mr. Yang Zhifa, the farmer who dug out the first terracotta warrior in 1974. After that, we will arrange a fun DIY class at a local workshop, where you can follow an artisan to make a mini terracotta figure in about 40 minutes. You can carve your name or special logo on the figure and take it home.

      In the afternoon, visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and experience the fun of wearing Chinese Hanfu costume in Great Tang All Day Mall.

  • Day 6 Xi’An To Chengdu By High Speed Train

      Xi’An To Chengdu By High Speed Train

      Today you will begin your visit to the City Wall Park. Encircling the old City Wall, the park is the most popular place for local people to relax, especially in the morning time. You will see people are attending different kinds of activities for fun. It is true that the park has brought the old wall live. From the park, we head to the best-preserved Ming Dynasty City Wall. It will be a memorable experience to ride a bicycle on the wall. If feel interested, you can rent the bike at your own expense. Then visit the Great Mosque. You can also have a taste of the local snacks on the Muslim Street when finishing the visit to the mosque. This noon, we will select a noted restaurant there for you to taste some of the best.

      In the afternoon, you will head to Chengdu by a high speed train for around 4 hours. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

  • Day 7 Chengdu

      Chengdu

      Today you will pay a visit to the lovely giant pandas in Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Giant Panda only inhabits in China, so it is regarded as the national treasure. Then your guide will escort you to head to Xiaojiahe Community and spend a leisurely afternoon there as the locals do. First, you will have lunch (at your own cost) and eat like locals at Yongle Restaurant, which has been serving the community for over 20 years. Then, visit a vegetable market. Next, you will walk for about 15 minutes to Xiaojia River bank to experience slow-paced life. Locals gather there playing mahjong or cards, drinking tea or just chatting with each other. At the end of the day, the guide will transfer you back to the hotel.

  • Day 8 Chengdu To Shanghai By Flight

      Chengdu To Shanghai By Flight

      Bid farewell to Chengdu today. You will be escorted to the airport and board the flight to Shanghai. After 2.5 hours flight, you will be warmly greeted at the airport by your Shanghai guide and driver. After, drive to visit the Bund on the west bank of Huangpu River. It is the most prosperous area of Shanghai in early 20th century, still preserving many western style buildings. Next, take a one-hour cruise trip on the Huangpu River. Then, transfer to the hotel for a two-night stay.

  • Day 9 Shanghai

      After breakfast, you will be guided to visit Shanghai Museum and Yu Garden. At noon, a farewell a la carte lunch is offered at a superb restaurant.

      This afternoon will be spent in the quaint Zhujiajiao Water Town. It is reputed as “Oriental Venice” because of the folk residences built along rivers. It is not modern and stylish as Shanghai, but preserves more traces of the past.
