Day 1 Arrival In Beijing

Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

Upon your arrival at the airport, your local guide will greet you outside the customs of the airport, and then a comfortable transfer will take you to the reserved hotel for a good rest. The remaining time of the day is left free for you to revitalize from the long journey.
Day 2 Beijing

Your first stop is the world famous Tiananmen Square. Next we go to the Forbidden City where you can sense the vicissitude of China’s once feudal country. You will have a glimpse of the luxurious royal life from the splendid palaces, delicate decorations and precious cultural relics. You will enjoy an a la carte welcome lunch at a superb local restaurant. After lunch, continue history appreciation at Yonghe Temple and the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing

Today’s highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The round-trip cable car is included. The restaurants nearby the site are of low standard, so we do not arrange the lunch today. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel and have some fast food for lunch by yourself. Your guide will show you some restaurants.

In the afternoon, we will drive you back to downtown and stopover at the Olympic National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) for a photo chance. Then, proceed to Shichahai, an area preserving many ancient Hutongs and traditional folk yards - Siheyuan. A rickshaw ride lasting for around 40 minutes and a family visit will be arranged to make the trip more interesting. At the end of the day, we will transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian By High-Speed Train

Beijing - Xian By High-Speed Train

In the morning, visit the Summer Palace. Afterwards, we will drive you to the railway station, where you will experience a high speed train to Xi’an. Usually the train journey takes around 5 hours, you can take breaks and enjoy the countryside scenery along the way. On arriving, you will be picked up by the guide in Xi’an and transferred to the hotel.

Day 5 Xian

After a big breakfast at the hotel, head to the Terracotta Army, the amazing underground project built more than 2,200 years ago. After that, take a family visit to home of the first discoverer of the Terracotta Army. And then make a mini clay warrior by yourself with the help of a local artisan.

In the afternoon, continue appreciating the city’s long history by visiting the Provincial History Museum. Today’s tour will end here and the guide will transfer you back to the hotel. Tonight if still energetic, you are advised to explore the Great Tang All Day Mall, a two-thousand-meter-long street for you to relive both the economic and cultural prosperity of Tang Dynasty (618 - 907). It is very close to your hotel. If needed, the guide will drop you off there directly.

Day 6 Xian- Guilin By Flight

Xian- Guilin By Flight

The first stop today is the City Wall Park, where many local people are singing, dancing, chatting, playing chess, playing instruments and etc. It is the best place to approach the local life. Then, you will go on a visit to the well-preserved City Wall. It’s very popular among visitors to cycle on the top for a whole circle to have an overall perspective of the city. You may also have a try if you like. The rent will be on your own. Later a visit to the Great Mosque is scheduled. For those who love collecting souvenirs and gifts for families and friends, the Muslim bazaar beside the mosque is a wonderful place to go and try the local food. Today’s lunch will be served at a highly rated restaurant there.

In the afternoon, visit Han Yang Ling Museum on the way to the airport, which was built to protect the Mausoleum of Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD). In the underground museum, the relics and ruins remain in their original location without any moves. You can see the ancient Chinese burial customs very closely. After that, you will take a flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival, your local guide in Guilin will collect you at the airport and escort you to the hotel.

Day 7 Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin

Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin

Today you will have a chance to appreciate the supernatural landscape by cruising on the Li River. The cruise will depart from Guilin at 09:00 and arrive at Yangshuo at about 14:00. The box lunch provided by the cruise company today may not meet your expectation, so we suggest you have a big breakfast at the hotel.

Upon your arrival, we will arrange for you a cycling tour in the countryside to enjoy the pastoral scenery of Yangshuo. It will last for about 1.5 to 2 hours. If you are not capable of riding a bicycle, we will arrange this countryside tour by car. Finally, we will transfer you back to Guilin.

Day 8 Guilin - Shanghai By Flight

Guilin - Shanghai By Flight

You will be taken to visit the Reed Flute Cave, a spectacular world of stalagmites, stalactites, stone pillars and stone flowers created by carbonate deposits.

After that, you will take a flight to Shanghai. Your private guide and driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to visit the Bund, a waterfront to the west of the Huangpu River where many European style buildings stand. Tonight, we will considerately arrange a Huangpu River cruise for you. As the ship sails forward, you will feel like a colorful scroll painting about a modern metropolis unveiling in front of you. After, transfer you to the hotel, where you will stay for two nights.

Day 9 Shanghai

Shanghai

In the morning, you will visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yu Garden. An a la carte lunch will be arranged for you at a well-known local restaurant, which serves veritable Shanghai and Cantonese cuisines.

After enjoying the terrific lunch, the guide will accompany you to visit Zhujiajiao Water Town in the west suburb of Shanghai. If Shanghai is modern and stylish, Zhujiajiao is antique and gentle. Here, people build their houses by water courses, hence reputed as “Venice of Shanghai”.

Day 10 Leave Shanghai
