      Take 2-hour car ride to Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall in the morning for a visit. And you will visit Summer Palace in the afternoon.

      You will visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City in the morning. Then transfer to Beijing South Railway Station to catch a 6-hour bullet train to Xian. Upon arrival, met by our guide and transferred to hotel.

      The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum is one of the highlights of the Silk Road. You will take one-hour car ride for a visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum in the morning. 

      Then you will visit Old City Wall and Muslim Quarter in the afternoon.

      Day 5: Xian - Zhangye By Air

      Fly to Zhangye this morning. Then you can visit the Dafo Temple if time permits. Thare are only one daily fight from Xian to Zhangye, and its flight time changes from time to time.

      Today you will visit Zhangye Rainbow Danxia that are colorful clay mountains. Afterwards you will take 2-hour ride to Jiayuguan Fort for a visit, which used to be the Western end of the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty.

      Day 7: Jiayuguan - Dunhuang By Car

      Take 5-hour car ride to Dunhuang this morning, and enjoy the Gobi desert and snow-covered Qilian mountain on the way. This afternoon you will view the Singing Sand Dunes and Crescent Spring in the desert. 

      Explore the night market in the evening.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Dunhuang -Turpan By Bullet Train

      Day 8: Dunhuang -Turpan By Bullet Train

      In the morning, you will visit Mogao Caves, the most renowned attraction on the Silk Road. Colorful fresco, statues in the caves are telling you various stories about Buddha.

      Afterwards you will be transferred to Liuyuan railway station catch 4-hour bullet train to Turpan. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

      Today you will visit Bezklik Grottos, Astana Ancient Tombs, the Ancient City of Jiaohe and Gaochang, Karez Irrigation System, and Emin Minaret with a local guide to learn the history about Turpan and Silk Road.

      You will take 3-hour car ride to Urumqi this morning, where you will visit Xinjiang Museum(Close on Monday), mummies are a must-see in it, particularly Loulan Beauty and Xiaohe Beauty. 

      Afterwards you will be transferred to visit the stunning Heavenly Lake.

      Then you will be transferred to the hotel in Urumqi for a rest.
