      Excursion To Ayutthaya

At 6:30 AM, your journey begins from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, an ancient city steeped in history. Your tour guide will share fascinating insights during the ride. Your first destination is Wat Chai Wattanaram, a remarkable temple ordered by King Prasat Thong in 1630 A.D. This temple features architectural influences from Angkor temples in Cambodia.
Next, youโ€™ll explore Wat Lokayasutha, believed to date back to Ayutthayaโ€™s early days, and home to a massive outdoor reclining Buddha image, measuring 42 meters in length and 8 meters in height.
Proceed to Wat Phra Srisanphet, a royal temple exclusively used by the king and the royal family. It was the grandest temple in Ayutthaya, renowned for its Ceylonese-style stupas and a cloister at its center.
Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit is your next stop, housing the Phra Mongkon Bophit Buddha image, one of Thailandโ€™s largest bronze Buddha statues. It exhibits traces of Sukhothai influence and a history dating back to the early Ayutthaya period.
Conclude your temple visits with Wat Mahathat, one of Ayutthayaโ€™s oldest and most significant temples, housing a holy relic of the Buddha. Donโ€™t forget to photograph the iconic sandstone Buddha head entwined with tree roots.
After exploring these historical treasures, savor a delectable lunch (optional) at a local Thai restaurant. Post-lunch, enjoy some shopping and leisure time at Ayothaya Floating Market before back to Bangkok
