Pura Ulun Danu, is a major Shaivite water temple on Bali. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Bratan. The 11-storey “Pelinggih Meru” in the complex is dedicated to Shiva and his consort Parvathi. Buddha's statue is also enshrined in this temple.

Tracing from the meaning of the word Jatiluwih is composed of two words namely Jati and Luwih. Where Jati means true / real, while Luwih means good. It is no exaggeration that Jatiluwih is a truly beautiful place with amazing natural scenery. Meanwhile, the air temperature in this place is very cool.

What is Uluwatu: The temple is built at the edge (ulu) of a 70 meter high cliff orrock (watu) projecting into the sea. In folklore, this rock is said to be part of Dewi Danu petrified barque.

This cliff is inhabited by tribe long tail Macaque monkeys.
