It’s always a good time to go backpacking in Australia! It’s generally quite hot in most parts of the country for the majority of the year except for the southern half of Australia during winter (June, July & August). But because Australia is such a big country when it’s cold down south most people will head north and follow the sun!

Yes. In fact most people who do Oz Adventure are travelling solo. So it’s a great way to meet people and make friends to travelling around Australia with!

We always recommend travelling with a backpack and packing light! 15-20kgs of stuff should be plenty. Australia is a BIG country so dragging around a huge suitcase is not much fun.

We recommend bringing a Visa or Master Card debit, credit or travel money card. There are ATM’s available throughout Australia so it’s easy to get access to cash and most places accept credit card.

That’s about it for now. Once you’ve booked you’ll get access to our online Check in Area and the INTRO Travel App, which will give you all the information you’ll need on Australia and Oz Adventure, so you can just relax and enjoy the experience.

It is always good to carry some money, for any meal, souvenir, or extra expense we recommend you take at least 300 - 500 extra usd.

You will be picked up upon arrival at the airport and transferred to the hostel included.

Vaccinations are up to you, but we suggest being up to date with the regular ones

You will stay at Base Backpackers Hostel in Sydney and at Bush Bungalow in Port Stephens

You can book additional nights at the accommodation for approx. $35 AUD for any extra night.

The voltage and frecuency is of 230 V/50 Hz. The plug in is type I, so you will need and adapter

You can get there at any time, you will be picked up upon arrival at the airport. The transfer included is only for the accommodation mentioned on itinerary.

Although Australia is a relatively safe place, it’s important that you cover yourself for the unexpected by arranging Travel Insurance before you go.

Safety is are number 1 priority. We have access to doctors and hospitals at all times.

The tours are in English, you must be able to understand it and speak it in order to enjoy the experience at its best!

If you already have a reservation confirmation and you want to change your experience to another one or cancel your trip, a cancellation/change fee of $2,000 MXN will be applied per person. This fee applies to any change regarding names, date, number of travelers, change of experience, or cancellation for any reason. This fee cannot be used on a new experience, neither it will be reimbursed in case you decide to get your original reservation back. This fee will be deducted from the deposit you have already made in your reservation. If you have reserved an itinerary with this guide and you already have an established traveling date, but you wish to change it, we suggest you to get an open date for traveling, so you can later pick another date. Remember you have 365 days to go on your experience once your reservation is registered, as long as the experience you booked is available.
