  • Day 1 Day 1: Ashgabat

      Day 1: Ashgabat

      Arrival in Ashgabat aiport, be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. 


  • Day 2 Day 2: Ashgabat

      Day 2: Ashgabat

      After the breakfast in the hotel restaurant you will proceed for al full day city tour in Ashgabat. The modern Ashgabat is called a marble city with many white marble apartments, grandious national monuments. You will visit Ertogrul Gazy Mosque, Independence Park, Neutrality Arch, National Museum, Nissa (UNESCO) and Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum. 

  • Day 3 Day 3: Mary / Ashgabat

      Day 3: Mary / Ashgabat

      Morning flight to Mary (ETD 0615h ETA 0655h or ETD 0950 ETA 1030h). Excursion to Ancient Merv (UNESCO). It is located 40 km from new Mary city. It is one of the oldest and biggest settlements in Central Asia and it lead to the formation of such cities like Margush or Margiana. You will see the ruins of ancient city fortress, excavation site, city walls. 

      Return to Mary. Visit the History museum of Merv region. Transfer to airport for evening flight to Ashgabat, (ETD 1920h ETA 2000h). Upon arrival meet at airport and transfer to hotel for overnight.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Darvaza

      Day 4: Darvaza

      Today we will spend a half day in Ashgabat and visit some museums, including visit to Anau mosque ruins, Ahalteke horse stables, Carpet Museum (open on Sunday) bazaar. Afternoon we will drive to Darwaza in the Karakum desert, with visit of Erbent desert community on the way. The crater is located in the desert and it is amazing to see it in the evening after sunset. We will set up camps. Picnic dinner, you will enjoy kebab and overnight in tent.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Nukus

      Day 5: Nukus

      After breakfast we will drive to Dashoguz city and then to Kunya Urgench (UNESCO). Kunya Urgench was the capital of Khorezm empire but it was destroyed by Mongol troops in the 13th century and flud .  After sightseeing, we will head to Uzbekistan border near Hojeyli-Nukus. You will meet your Uzbek guide and driver and be transferred to Nukus city. Nukus is the northern capital city of Karakalpakstan republic. It is famous for its unique museum in the world with Avant-Garde art collection in the Museum of Savitskiy.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Nukus-Khiva

      Day 6: Nukus-Khiva

      Visit Savitskiy museum in Nukus, then drive to Khiva. En route you can stop and visit ancient ruins of Khorezm empire. The main religion was Zoroastrizm at that time and therefore there are many sites, ruins, fortresses located along Amudarya river. One of them is Chillpik, the hill of Silence, Ayazkala and Topraqkala ruins located in the Kyzylkum desert. Evening arrive in Khiva, overnight in Khiva.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Khiva

      Day 7: Khiva

      You will visit the whole town with its minarets, mosques, musuems, palaces and caravanserai. You will meet also local people living in the old town, celebrating weddings in the city, shopping in the local market. Kunya Ark, Kalta minor, Muhammad Aminkhan madrasa, Muhammad Rahimkhan madrasa, Juma mosque and Minaret, Islam Khodja minaret, Tash Hauli palace are the main but not the full list of attractions located in the town. You will finish the day with Folk music and dinner in Khiva in one of the local families. Overnight.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Khiva-Bukhara Drive

      Day 8: Khiva-Bukhara Drive

      After breakfast drive to Bukhara through Kyzylkum desert. Arrive in Bukhara late afternoon. Rest and explore old town by walking. Your hotel is located in the center of the city. You will wander in the old town and visit shops, galleries, carfts workshops, chayhana, cafe and restaurants around Laby Hauz pond. 

  • Day 9 Day 9: Bukhara

      Day 9: Bukhara

      Todayโ€™s full day city tour. Sightseeing is all on foot through this ancient, holy city, includes Chashmai Ayub mausoleum of 9 C, Ismail Samani mausoleum 9-10 C, Bolo Hauz mosque and Ark Fortress.  You will see palaces, trade domes, mosques, madrasas, hanaka, Turkish hammam, the bazaar and many souvenir  shops. After lunch (not included) at a local restaurants or cafรฉ. you visit Kalyan minaret, Ulughbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasa, Nadir Divan Begi Madrasa and Khanaka, Magaki Attari mosque, Chor Minor madrasa. Overnight.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Bukhara

      Day 10: Bukhara

      On your 2nd day in Bukhara you may visit Muslim shrine outside of city Bahuddin Naqshbandiy or Summer palace of Bukhara emir . PM free. You may spend your free time going to old Hammam, should be booked in advance by your local guide, Additional $25 pp. Separate for women and men.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Bukhara/Shahrisabz

      Day 11: Bukhara/Shahrisabz

      After breakfast drive to Samarkand via Shahrisabz , the birthplace of Amir Temur. If you are a small group of 1-3 persons, you can drive over the mountain of Zarafshan pass (1450 m) and arrive Shahrisabz in around one hour; bigger groups will travel by van or bus around the mountain which will take around 2. 5 hours and see remote villages of the province. Visit in Shahrisabz includes the UNESCO-listed ruins of Ak Saray Palace, Jahangirโ€™s mausoleum and Kok Gumbaz mosque After lunch at a local restaurant you continue driving to Samarkand. Arrival in Samarkand at around 1800. Dinner at local restaurant or in a hotel. Overnight.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Samarkand

      Day 12: Samarkand

      City Tour in Samarkand. This legendary city has not so many sites as in Bukhara but it is very famouse for its Mausoleum of Gur Emir, Registan square with Sherdor Madrasa, Ulughbek madrasa, Tilla Sheikh mosque. It is also  the main city square  where locals celebrate have festivals and holidays and the international world music festival. Afrosiab museum, the museum dedicated to the ancient city Afrosiab.  Overnight.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Samarkand/Tashkent

      Day 13: Samarkand/Tashkent

      In the morning we will visit Silk carpet factory of Samarkand and Konigil Silk paper workshop. Evening take train at 1700-1910 to Tashkent. Overnight in Tashkent

      After breakfast city tour of Tashkent and we will visit today: Hasti Imam complex where you can see the original Koran of 7th century, Barakhan madrasah of 16 the century, and later proceed to Chorsu bazar, Applied arts museum, Tashkent metro and Independence square with a memorial devoted to the vitims of II world war.
