We will have breakfast at the hotel and will drive south through Antananarivo. Rice fields and typical highland villages represent the landscape just after Antananarivo. We stop in Ambatolampy to discover the rather surprising work of aluminium in the manufacture of pots for the whole country. We will take the lunch in town. Continuation to Antsirabe, many stops along the way to enjoy the beautiful scenery, taking pictures. Arrival in Antsirabe in the early afternoon. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will continue on the national road n°7 and progress towards the south. We will turn left to join Ranomafana in the Betsileo region, the main tribe south of the highlands of Madagascar. We have a winding road. Stop for lunch at a restaurant along the way. Arrival in Ranomafana in the early afternoon. Installation at the Hotel. After a break, departure to discover the village and its crafts. A relaxation of fitness and well-being on the thermal swimming pool of Ranomafana. Return to the hotel, preparation of the night visit. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 4: Visit Of Ranomafana National Park

The morning is devoted to the visit of Ranomafana National Park. This Malagasy park, created in 1991, is located 65 kilometers northeast of the capital of the province of Fianarantsoa and covers nearly 41,601 hectares. More precisely, the Ranomafana Park lurks happily in the heart of the Namorona Valley. It is surrounded by the mountains. The immense evergreen forest that surrounds it will only increase its charm. The Bamboo Lemur, the fulvus, the Rubriventer Lemur populate the place. Numerous medicinal plants mark out the path, our guide will introduce them to us. We leave from the entrance of the park and will go down through this jungle. At the very end, we will be welcomed in the village of Ranomafana. Lunch at the restaurant along the way. After the visit, our adventure will continue to the road to Ambalavao with a stop in Fianarantsoa, "where one learns good". We will take a small tour of the town to admire its historical remains. This locality is the twin of the city of Antananarivo of its architecture. Indeed, Queen Ranavalona I hadbuilt it in the image of the capital and had hotels installed there. Have dinner and night at the hotel.

After breakfast, we continue the road. We will head towards the old town of Fianarantsoa. Perched in the hills with its beautiful traditional architecture, Fianarantsoa abounds with the history of the different stages of colonization. Then we continue the road to Ambalavao. Lunch at the restaurant, then discovery of this city, visit of the zebu market (Wednesday and Thursday), visit of a silk craft workshop. After the visit, have dinner and night at the hotel.

After breakfast, departure for the discovery. A few minutes from Ambalavao, on the road to Isalo, we will stop for the visit of the Anja Community Reserve. This site is very attractive of its biodiversity with the presence of lemurs like catta lemur (Maki), reptiles like chameleons, snakes. We continue the road to Tsaranoro (literally Noro means pretty). Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Trekking On The Great Massif Of Andringitra.

After breakfast, the will adventure begin. Andringitra is a granite massif which extends over an area of 31160 ha. Hiking, trekking, climbing and panoramic views are among the interests of this national park with its 100 km of trails decorated by a mountainous and picturesque landscape. Among others, the Tsaranoro Valley is a tourist site integrated in the Andringitra National Park. It is called the great cliff "Tsaranoro". This gigantic cliff is world famous for its climbers and adventurers. It is one of the most magical and quiet places in Madagascar. There are also tours that will soothe you like the adventure in the forest and the visit of the native villages which ends with the ascent of Mount Chameleon and its superb panoramic view. Picnic lunch. Dinner and night at the camp site.

After breakfast, back on the national road N°7, we cross the largest plateau of Madagascar consisting of a beautiful herbaceous steppe and surmounted by huge termite nests. This is the region of Ihorombe. We arrive in the village of Ranohira, close to the Isalo massif and the entrance of the national park. Arrival at the village of Ranohira in the late morning, installation at the hotel. Lunch at the restaurant. After a rest, enjoy the sunset at the window of the Isalo. Return to the hotel. Dinner and night at the hotel.

After breakfast, you leave Isalo for the coast along the Mozambique Channel. The road unrolls its ribbon of tar over 245 km and the southern vegetation gradually takes its place in the landscape: baobabs, aloe, euphorbiaceae ... You will probably come across impressive herds of zebus and make a stop in the Mahafaly tombs, surprisingly decorated and erected with wooden sculptures. On arrival in Tulear, you will make a short visit of the city before taking the sand track that runs along the beach and the mangrove swamp towards Ifaty and your hotel.
