      Day 2: Discover The Mosaics Of Madaba And The Ruins Of Jerash

      After breakfast, spend the morning discovering the beautiful Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics of Madaba. In the late morning, a driver will take you north to Jerash (Gerasa) to visit the ruins of the Greco-Roman city. Wander along the Colonnaded Street,  climb the steps of the Temple of Artemis or listen to the traditional bagpipers in the Theater. In the late afternoon, you will return to Amman where you will stay overnight.

      Travel south along the Kingโ€™s Highway to Wadi Rum, also known as Valley of the Moon. Your first stop along this ancient trade route is Karak Castle, one of the largest crusader castles in the Middle East. Continue down to Dana Nature Reserve, to enjoy some amazing views into the green valleys and over into Wadi Araba. Late afternoon you arrive in the protected area of Wadi Rum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in an authentic Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum.

Or climb up the mountain opposite the High Place of Sacrifice and take the trail down to the Garden Temple Complex. At the end of the day, walk back to your hotel for the night.
