The following are the inclusions in this tour: - Private pick up and drop from the airport for the group. There will be enough space for one medium size checked bag per passenger and one small cabin bag - 3 star hotel with breakfast (no other meals are included) - Day 1: Arrival In Munich. - Day 2: Full Day Neuschwanstein Castle Trip from Munich using public transport pass - castle entry ticket is included in cost based on availability (no guide) - Day 3: Transfer to Salzburg - You will transfer to Salzburg by train. Train station transfers are excluded, you can easily use public transport for this purpose. - Day 3: Walking Tour of Salzburg - This is a self guided tour. You will be provided with a Google Maps Link, and you can follow that trail to explore the place by yourself. - Day 4: Hallstatt full day visit - You will have your day tickets to go to Hallstatt from Salzburg. Please note the connections with your tickets and choose the timings of your visit as per your convenience any time of the day. Ofcourse we will let you know how to go about these full day trips on your own including train timings, things to see, travel tips, dos and don’ts etc. - Day 5 Full Day Lake Königssee Trip from Salzburg using public transport pass - Boat ride on the lake is not included and must be purchased at the lake (cost approx. EUR 25 per person) (no guide) - Day 6: Transfer to Vienna - You will transfer to Vienna by train. Train station transfers are excluded, you can easily use public transport for this purpose. - Day 7: Vienna in a Day - This is a self guided tour. You will be provided with information on key attractions in the city, and you can use it to explore the city by yourself using the 48 hour pass. (Entrance tickets to attractions are not included). - Day 8: Departure - drop to the airport from hotel by private cab. - Vienna 48 hour pass will be provided to you by us - Day 7: Schönbrunn Palace and Zoo (not included - Optional) - You can select to visit Schönbrunn palace and/or Zoo if you want this day. We would like to clarify that this is NOT a group/ coach tour. The plan will be only for independent travel for your party. Although you may be joining groups for certain sightseeing activities (if mentioned in the itinerary) and for your walking tour, overall this is not a coach tour (in which everything is managed from airport to airport). Please note that for all sightseeings, the activity starts from a meeting point. You are expected to reach the meeting point on your own. We hope that is okay with you. On this day you’ll be heading straight to explore the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle and the enchanting old-world town of Füssen, framed by one of the most breathtaking natural settings in the world. Get surprised by the Majestic Neuschwanstein Castle and tour the scenic vantage points of the castle’s surroundings. After this enjoy a 2-hour train ride back to Munich through the Bavarian countryside and discover the extravagant world of King Ludwig II. It is a self guided trip, transfers from Salzburg and entry to the castle are included, but you will have to reach the train station on your own.

Today you’ll be transfering to Salzburg via train, the tickets to which are included in the package. But the train station transfers are excluded, you can easily use public transport for this purpose.

Then you will take the walking tour of Salzburg which will cover the attractions such as Salzburg Old Town with beautiful churches and squares, Mozart museums, Salzburg Fortress, etc. Along the way you will hear fascinating facts about the city’s history, and get tips on things to do and see during the rest of your Salzburg vacation. This is a self guided tour. You will be provided with a Google Maps Link, and you can follow that trail to explore the place by yourself.

On this day, you’ll be visiting the “Pearl of Austria” - Hallstatt. Hallstatt is a spectacularly picturesque village, due to its location on a narrow rocky west bank of the Hallstättersee with the sheer rising mountains behind it. It is considered by some to be one of the most beautiful places on earth.

The train transfer from Salzburg to Halstatt is included but you will have to reach the train station on your own.

Day 5 Lake Königssee Full Day Trip

Lake Königssee Full Day Trip

Today after breakfast you will leave for Lake Königssee. Spend a beautiful day at the emerald waters of Königssee in the Berchtesgaden Alps of Bavaria (in Germany). The lake is surrounded by snow clad mountains, with marvelous views of Germany’s highest waterfall at Röthbachfall and the beautiful chapel of St. Bartholoma, dating from 1134, this place is totally unmissable. The boat ride on the lake is mesmerizing and the little musical performance by the guide on the boat is cherry on the cake. Boat ride is not included in the price and must be purchased at the lake (cost approx. EUR 25 per person). Transfers from Munich to the lake are included, but you will have to reach the train station on your own.

Today you’ll be transfering to Vienna via train, the tickets to which are included in the package. But the train station transfers are excluded, you can easily use public transport for this purpose. You can spend the rest of the day in Vienna getting to know the city, walking around the town, and going out dining.

Vienna In A Day

On this day you’ll cover Vienna for the complete day. Vienna is a huge city with several districts containing sightseeing, restaurants, nightlife etc. As this is a self guided tour, you will be provided with information on key attractions in the city, and you can use it to explore the city by yourself. You already have a 48 hour pass, using which you can explore the various attractions including Schönbrunn Palace and Zoo, the Hofburg Imperial Palace, Belvedere Palace, Albertinaplatz which is the center of the city, Kahlenberg which offers amazing panoramic views of Vienna. (Entrance tickets to attractions are not included, If you want to visit Schönbrunn Palace or Zoo, you can select the same in optional addons while booking the tour). This public transport pass is also valid on metro, trams and buses in Vienna. This will require a lot of walking and changing modes of transport throughout the day. As the activity is self-guided, you can spend as much or as little time as you want at different places.
