  • Day 2 Day 2: Lima City Tour

      Day 2: Lima City Tour

      After breakfast you will be greeted in your hotel and taken on a private tour of Lima, โ€œThe City of the Kingsโ€. Visit the Plaza Mayor, the 16th century Cathedral of gold, followed by a tour of the catacombs at the Convento San Francisco.


      The tour ends in the beautiful residential district of Miraflores where and a visit of the only pre-Inca ruin, Huaca Pucllana, constructed in the 2nd century AD. It was built by the Inca people as a โ€œSacred Townโ€ and was a busy ceremonial and administrative center. Return to your hotel after the tour.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Lima, Cusco Flight

      Day 3: Lima, Cusco Flight

      You will be greeted in your hotel and taken to the Lima airport for your one hour flight SE over the Andes to historic Cusco. At the Cusco airport you will be met and taken to check in to your hotel near the main square in Cuscoโ€™s historic district.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Sacred Valley Tour

      Day 4: Sacred Valley Tour

      After breakfast visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas north of Cusco. Your trip today through the land of the Incas first stops in Pisa, a beautiful place to observe archaeological remains and visit the famous Indian market. Then continue on to Urubamba where youโ€™ll stop and have a delicious typical Andean buffet lunch. Next visit the archaeological city of Ollantaytambo, an original Inca city.


      Scale the magnificent wall and see where the 2 valleys converge. This is where the Inca defended the Sacred Valley to the North. You will be returned to your hotel after the Sacred Valley Tour.


      * Note: If you prefer to minimize drive time back to Cusco from the Sacred Valley ask about a night in the peaceful Sacred Valley in one the the many lodges there.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Train To Aguas Calientes

      Day 5: Train To Aguas Calientes

      You will be greeted in your hotel and taken to the train station in time for your train to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu. Enjoy a picturesque, serene ride along the river to. You will be greeted in Aguas Calientes and escorted to your hotel.


      You will be met by your guide in your hotelโ€™s lobby for a brief orientation regarding tomorrowโ€™s visit to the Citadel of Machu Picchu. Public hot springs are available in Aguas Calientes (small fee).

  • Day 6 Day 6: Machu Picchu Tour, Train To Cusco

      Day 6: Machu Picchu Tour, Train To Cusco

      At the predetermined time you will be met in your hotel by your guide and taken by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Spend 2 hours with your guide then have time on your own to explore. You will opportunities to hike to the Inca Bridge or the East Gate. When finished take any one of the continuous buses back down to Aguas Calientes in time for your train back to Cusco. * Note: If you desire to climb Huayna Picchu please mention this to our sales agent to ensure your space.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Cusco City Tour

      Day 7: Cusco City Tour

      In the afternoon you will be met at your hotel for unforgettable tours of the ruins just outside of Cusco. Visit the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha) and see how Spanish construction co-exists with fine Inca stonework.


      Afterwards visit the ancient ceremonial sites of the Incas just outside of Cusco: the megalithic walls of Sacsayhuaman, the caves atQโ€™enqo, and the fortress of Pucapucara. You can also visit the baths, canals, aqueducts and waterfalls of Tambomachay. After completion of the tour you will be brought back to your hotel.
