Our tour begins with a visit to the Ismoil Somoni complex. In this complex, there is a monument of Ismoil Somoni and Dusti Square. The monument of Ismoil Somoni constructed in honor of the founder of the statehood of the Tajik nation Ismail Somoni. I. Somoni was the head of the Samanids State in the VIII-IX century. Monument height is 11.5 meters; arch height of 40 meters is a symbol of the Eastern state.

Next object, which we will visit, is the Flagpole. The STATE FLAG SQUARE is located in the center of Dushanbe, to the left of the Nation Palace. This Flagpole entered in the Guinness Book of records as the Highest Flagpole in the world. The height of the flagpole is 165 meters, area 1800 m2, width 30 meters and length 60 meters.

Next, visit the National Museum. NATIONAL MUSEUM — located in the center of Dushanbe. The Museum consists of 22 large and small exhibition halls — departments of nature, antiquity and the middle ages, modern history, fine and applied arts. YOQUB IBN USMAN AL-GARHI (1359-1447) — a religious figure, the spiritual leader of the Sufi tariqa Hadzha-Naqshbandi. Sheikh, the eighteenth in the golden chain of succession of sheikhs of tariqa.

Abul-Qasem Ferdowsi Tusi (940–1020), or just Ferdowsi was a Persian poet and the author of Shahnameh (“Book of Kings”), which is the world's longest epic poem created by a single poet, and the national epic of Greater Iran. Ferdowsi celebrated as the most influential figure in Persian literature and one of the greatest in the history of literature.

In the Galleria and shopping center “National crafts” will be present creative and cultural history of the Tajik nation. From times immemorial, Tajiks have been famous for creations of national craftsmen. These skillful hands have been making fabrics, utensils, musical instruments, carpets, furniture, jewelry and many other things for many centuries using only natural ecologically pure raw materials. Today many of these things have become souvenirs, which are especially appreciate by foreign visitors to Central Asia and Tajikistan in particular.

Hissar is old town – 300 years ago was the capital of the province of Eastern Bukhara. The fortress overlooks the market square, surrounded by a caravanserai and two madrasas, one of which is an ethnographic Museum.

The first object in the town of Hissar is the TEAHOUSE KHARBUZA - a TEAHOUSE is unique in the world, it was built in the form of a melon (the Taj: - kharbuza). The teahouse, with a height of 43 meters, length 100 meters, width of 55 meters, is design to receive 2.3 thousand visitors at a time. Another object is the HISSAR FORTRESS.

The Hissar fortress is like a Palace of one of the beks of Bukhara Emirate, with walls 1m thick, with loopholes for guns and cannons towered on the slope of a high hill and guarded by guards. Inside were a swimming pool and garden (3000 years) — located 26 km from Dushanbe (West). The fortress is an open-air Museum.

Day 5: Varzob Canyon – Skiing complex Safed-Dara;

Varzob district – Safeddara. The only ski base in Tajikistan – “Safed-Dara” is located in Takob Village of Varzob region, about 70 km from Dushanbe. Mountain Sea can be with great pleasure so called Nurek reservoir, formed in 1972. Indeed, among the mountain range in the South of Tajikistan, noticing the huge area of the water surface, it is impossible not to compare it with the sea, especially the mountain.

The surface area is 98 km2, water volume is 10.5 km3, length — 70 km, width 1 km, the Average depth of the lake is 107 m. the reservoir Level is in the range of 53 m. the reservoir is used for shipping. Discharge of water through the tunnel made in the rock with a length of 5 km.

The mountain sea filled with clear, mirror fresh water, the source of which is the icy mountains of the Pamir range.

The reservoir was form at an altitude of 885 meters above sea level under the Nurek dam.

Currently, one of the most powerful hydroelectric power plants in Central Asia, the dam that listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the highest bulk dam in the world. The height of the Nurek hydroelectric dam is 304 meters.

Our tour will start from the bank of the reservoir. There we will be taken by the representatives of the Aquaclub and taken by boat to the other side – the island of the Aquaclub. At the same time, we will be present with information about the reservoir – Mountain Sea.
