      After a delicious breakfast, we will journey to the fascinating archaeological site of Olympia, where we will have the opportunity to explore the awe-inspiring Temple of Zeus, the magnificent Temple of Hera, the historic altar of the Olympic flame, the ancient Stadium, and the remarkable archaeological Museum. 


      Following our visit to Olympia, we will continue our travels through Patras, making our way to Rion and crossing the Corinthian Bay via the renowned bridge to Antirion. As we make our way along the coastal road, we will pass by the captivating city of Nafpaktos before arriving at the legendary Delphi, known in antiquity as the navel of the world. In the afternoon, we will immerse ourselves in the enchanting ambiance of the mountain village of Arachova, where we will spend the night in either Delphi or Itea.

      ยญIn the morning, you can embark on a visit to the nearby Meteora, a truly captivating UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its awe-inspiring Byzantine Monasteries. Here, youโ€™ll discover over 20 rock monasteries, each with a unique history and breathtaking views. After taking in the splendor of Meteora, you can leisurely make your way back to Athens in the late afternoon, with an opportunity to pass by the heroic monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae, resonating with its rich historical significance.


      Entrance to the monasteries: Appropriate clothing is required. Ladies should not wear short skirts and must have long sleeves. Men are not allowed to wear shorts.


      Meteora Monasteries: We visit the Great Meteoro Monastery and St. Stefanos. Every Tuesday, we are visiting instead of Great Meteoro, Varlaam monastery.
