Day 1: Drive to Lake Manyara for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
Since the 1920s, Lake Manyara area was used for sports hunting.[3] In 1957, a game reserve was established.[4] In 1960, it was given National Park status and in 1974 about 550 ha (1,400 acres) were added to the southern end. The majority of the land area of the park is a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and Lake Manyara, an alkaline lake, to the east

A part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of three natural UNESCO World Heritage Sites found in Tanzania, the Crater is the remnant of a mighty volcano that collapsed inward upon itself after a mighty eruption between 2 and 3 million years ago.
