6-day 48km Gannan Hiking: We Hold Freedom And Walk Towards The Mountain

Itinerary

Day 1: Gather in Lanzhou City, hotel check in

Stop At: Zhongshan Bridge, Chengguan District, Lanzhou, Lanzhou, China
You can choose to go to Zhongshan Bridge, the first bridge of the Yellow River, to see the oldest irrigation transport on the yellow river, and the most representative sculpture of the mother of the Yellow River, as well as the ancient river crossing tool sheepskin raft.

Day 2: Lanzhou-Zagana Village

Stop At: Zhagana Stone Mountains, Yiwa Village, Diebu County 747400 China
The highway is 480km long, and the journey takes about 7.5 hours. It takes a day to reach Zagana Village and adapt to the plateau climate. Have breakfast in the morning. Taking your personal luggage, and head towards Zhagana. The team leader briefly explained the local customs, historical and cultural background, etc. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenery of Gannan grassland and plateau lakes.

Arrive at 16:00 at Zagana, free activities, walk in the village with the sunset and feel the life.

Day 3: Zagana Village-Zagana Stone Forest-Dongcai Camp (3640 meters)

Stop At: Zhagana Stone Mountains, Yiwa Village, Diebu County 747400 China
17Km hiking, about 9 hours on foot
Get up, breakfast, pack up and go.
Arrive at noon and have a break, lunch, rest
Arrive at the camping site at night, here is an open meadow with a stream passing by.
Dinner, camp sharing.

Day 4: Dongcai Camp (3640m)-Karak Pass (4140m)-Qikena Ridge-Anziku Camp

Stop At: Zhagana Stone Mountains, Yiwa Village, Diebu County 747400 China
In the morning, we will pass three consecutive passes over the altitude of 3800-3950, and will pass through the highest pass, Karak Pass in the whole trip (4140 meters). Arrive at noon, the supply point, rest and eat. In the afternoon, you will see a large area of alpine meadows and the unique Sunset landform-Qichena Ridge. Whenever it is summer, it is full of wildflowers and looks extra beautiful.
17:30 Arrive at the camp and dinner. Camp sharing session.
Turn off the lights to sleep.

Day 5: Anziku Campsite-Stool Stone (3,320m)-Breastshan-Anziku (3160m)-Zhuoni County 13km

Stop At: Zhuoni County, Zhuoni County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu
About 7 hours on foot
Get up, clean up the camp, breakfast.
In the morning, you can climb to the top of the mountain to see the canyon and the sunrise.
15:00 to complete the entire trek to the end of the activity.
18:00 celebration party

Day 6: Zhuoni County—Hezuo City—Lanzhou City 500km by road

Stop At: Min County, Min County, Gansu
About 8 hours by car
Hezuo city, as the capital of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and a commercial town on the ancient "Silk Road", is known as the "Silk Road Shambhala". After arrival, visit the famous Milariba Buddha Pavilion.
Back to Lanzhou and disbanded.
