      Welcome to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by your guide. The guide will assist you to transfer to your hotel for check-in. Please note standard check-in time is at 14:00. 


      The afternoon we proceed to the tour started by Angkor National Museum, an archaeological museum dedicated the collection, preservation and presentation of Angkorian artifacts. The collections are mainly dated from Khmer Empireโ€™s Angkor period circa 9th to 14th centuries, with most of the artifacts discovered in and around the Angkor archaeological sites nearby.

      Notice:

      Revealing clothes such as shorts and skirts above the knees and bare shoulders are prohibited in sacred places and temples. On religious Buddhist dates the Top Tower (Level 3) of Angkor Wat temple is closed.

The provincial capital is also called Siem Reap and is located in the South of the province on the shores of the Tonle Sap Lake, the greatest sweet water reserve in whole Southeast Asia. Itโ€™s a laid-back, lovely place to stay while touring the temples and offers the best of both worlds between observing Cambodian life and enjoying the amenities of modern services and entertainment. Although the Temples are the main โ€˜drawโ€™ in this area there is much more to experience by travelling a little further in this region. โ€˜

      Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then explore the mountains, waterfalls and remote temples of Phnom Kulen and the Roluos Group of temples. Pick up at 8:00am in your hotel lobby for a 2-hour journey through rural Cambodia to our first destination. Considered by Khmers as the most sacred mountain in Cambodia, it is a place of pilgrimage. Main stops at Phnom Kulen include admiring the panoramic vistas from the massive reclining Buddha, the biggest of its kind in Cambodia, the โ€œRiver of a Thousand Lingasโ€ carving of sacred lingas on the river banks and the waterfalls of Phnom Kulen. We stop to take a dip in the cool waters and visit the nearby temple ruins. 


      Then your tour guide will bring you back to the ancient time before the Angkorian period where you will visit the first Angkorian capital of Rolous group  with Three temples Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko 11 Kilometers southeast of the Siem Reap Market, comprise the Roluos group of monuments they are close together and extend over an area of three kilometers ( 1.9 miles ) east of the Great Lake. The Roluos group, dating from the late ninth century, is the earliest site of the 600 years Angkor Period that is open to visitors. The three temples belonging to this important group have similar characteristics of architecture, decoration, materials and construction methods, which combine to reveal the beginning of the Classic Period of Khmer art.

      After Breakfast, Then continue an half of the day explores two highlight temples, Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei. Banteay Samre built under Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century, it is a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style. We follow Banteay Samre with Banteay Srei, one of Angkorโ€™s most beautiful temples. Built largely of red sandstone, this gem of a temple boasts a pink color and some of the most exquisite depictions. When itโ€™s time for a temple break, lunch at local restaurant (Own account)


      The afternoon we continue to the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, Angkor parkโ€™s most revered temple and the largest religious monument in the world. Inside the temple, the walls are covered with stone carvings and basโ€reliefs which are absolutely breathtaking. Your guide will explain the stories from the exquisite details and provide you with ample time to explore the inner and outer grounds of the temple.  


      Enjoy buffet dinner with Apsara Dance Show before back to hotel.


  • Day 4 Siem Reap: Heritage & Bayon Temple (B- - )

      This morning, after your breakfast we do an excursion to Visit Preah Khan temple, built by the King Jayavarman VII, Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder-hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. Then visit Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake. Follow by Ta Som, Mebon temple and last stop of Pre Rup Temple from the late 10th century building, built by Khmer king RAJENDRAVARMAN II is revered because the boldness of the architectural design is superb.  


      The afternoon followed by the popular temple of Ta Prohm which is the modern name of the temple at Angkor, built in the late 12th to early 13th centuries. However, probably more famous for being the location where they filmed the Tomb Raider movie. And we head onwards to Bayon temple which is unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara. Baphuon is like an artificial mountain that recently re-opened after years of restoration. Following, you may visit the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Last stop at South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk and see the ancient capital of Angkor Thom built in the late 12th century. You will be transfer back to hotel.
