  • Day 1 Marrakech - Boumalen Dades

      Marrakech - Boumalen Dades

      We leave Marrakech from your hotel or Riad at 7:30 am and begin our private desert tour returning three days later. After passing through the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains weโ€™ll be making several fascinating stops. Weโ€™ll pay a visit to UNESCO world heritage Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, the unforgettable backdrop for many Hollywood blockbuster movies such as Gladiator, then visit Kasbah Taourirte in Ouarzazate before having a leisurely lunch. We then travel through the Valley of Roses on our way to Boumalne Dades, eventually arriving at our welcoming boutique guest house, located in beautiful grounds in Dadeโ€™s Valley.


      A sumptuous dinner and welcome overnight stay will leave us excited to begin day 2 of this amazing desert tour.

  • Day 2 Boumalen Dades - Merzouga

      Boumalen Dades - Merzouga

      On day two, we will travel to Tinghir Oasis via the road of 1001 Kasbahs, marveling at the ruins of fortified villages that once hosted trading caravans. Tinghir offers a glimpse into local life as we visit the oases and follow the stream to Todgha Gorge. After a delightful lunch at a cafรฉ, we head to Rissani, known as the holiest town in Morocco and the starting point for ancient trading caravans. We then traverse rocky terrain to Merzouga, where a camel ride over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes awaits, offering a breathtaking sunset view. Our day concludes at a Berber desert camp with a memorable dinner under the stars, accompanied by traditional music and dancing.

  • Day 3 Merzouga - Marrakech

      Merzouga - Marrakech

      Weโ€™ll start the day with a camel trek to watch an unbelievable sunrise. Then, return to enjoy breakfast at our Lodge in Merzouga. Youโ€™ll have time to freshen up and be ready to enjoy the local natural beauty and cultural heritage. You will be able also to explore the rich local traditions of the Amazigh (Berber) people, experiencing their hospitality, music, and cuisine. The village itself is a gateway to a vast, arid landscape dotted with oases and rocky plateaus, making it an ideal base for exploring the Moroccan Sahara.


      The area is also known for its stunning sunrises and sunsets, which paint the dunes in a mesmerizing array of colors. Additionally, the clear desert skies make it a perfect spot for stargazing. Merzougaโ€™s unique environment and the adventure opportunities it offers make it a must-visit destination for those looking to immerse themselves in the awe-inspiring beauty of the Sahara Desert.
