  • Day 1 Day 1: Arusha-Ngaresero Village Near Lake Natron

      Day 1: Arusha-Ngaresero Village Near Lake Natron

      After an early breakfast depart Arusha at 7:00 am for Ngaresero Village near Lake Natron. The drive takes about 8 hours and you will have a packed lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at campsite. you will begin your ascent of Ol Doinyo Lengai early in the night. Ol Doinyo Lengai is the only volcano in the world to erupt nitro carbonatite lava and is the most active volcano in Tanzania. With a height of 2586m /9370ft, it was named Ol Doinyo Lengai or Mountain of God by the Maasai, and is a sacred site of pilgrimage for the Maasai and the dwelling place of their god Enkai. You will be able to spot some wild animals on your way to lake natron, animals like girrafes, zebras, impalas can be seen. We enjoy our packed lunch on the way over looking oldonyo lengai  and later proceed with the journey arrive in the evening for diner and overnight. F|B

      Day 2: Drive To The Base Of Ol Doinyo Lengai

      Today we wake up in the mid night at 1100am and transfered to the mountai of God called in masai language oldoyo lengai. The mountain standing at mt 2900 above the sea level and offers unique views as well as adventuring while climbing. You will be guided by the local masai guide who will be sharing masai culture stroies on the way to the summit. The ascent takes approximately 8hrs to get at the top and one hr descending to the starting point. Our vehicle will be waiting for you at the starting point encase of anything you can return and transfered to the camp. We overnight at the same camp .F|B

  • Day 3 Day 3: Lake Natron To Arusha

      Day 3: Lake Natron To Arusha

      Today after breakfast we walk to the lake natron where we will get the chance to explore the aqutic birds mainly are flamingoes as the lake is the main site for breeding. You will walk throgh the maasai boma where you will experince a bit about their culture like singing and daily basis of their life. Later head back to camp for hot lunch and later transfered back to Arusha for overnight at your own extra cost or transfered to kilimanjar airport on board to your next destination.
