The spacious shrine grounds offer walking paths that are great for a relaxing stroll.

      Today you’ll visit the Jogasaki Coast, a stunning stretch of coastline along the eastern coast of the Izu Peninsula. It has a captivating hiking trail spans nearly ten kilometers, providing picturesque views of the rugged cliffs and stone formations along the coast. Additionally, shorter sections of the trail are also accessible for walks.


      Nestled near the charming coastal town of Ito, Mt. Omuro beckons with its unique charm. Standing at a modest 580 meters, this captivating mountain offers a delightful interplay of green landscapes, resembling a lush oasis, and a snowy expanse reminiscent of an overturned rice bowl. Its volcano disguise reveals itself only from above, adding an element of surprise to this picturesque destination.


      Perched on a hilltop, Shuzen-ji Temple was founded in 807 by Kobo Daishi (Kukai), a prominent Buddhist monk and the founder of Shingon Buddhism. Explore the temple’s intimate museum, featuring the captivating death mask of shogun Minamoto no Yoriie. Surrounded by vibrant autumn foliage, this temple and its scenic environs create a captivating backdrop for an enchanting fall experience.

      Today you’ll visit the West Lake, and discover the charm of Japan’s unique thick-thatched roof cottages known as West Lake Village. Enjoy a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance, with the village offering a serene ambiance with murmuring books, singing birds, and blooming flowers.


      Next, you’ll venture to Oshino Hakkai, a cluster of eight springs in the quaint village of Oshino within the Fuji Five Lake region. Renowned for its crystal-clear and drinkable spring water, sourced from porous layers of hardened lava.


      You’ll also explore the stunning Narusawa Hyoketsu Ice Cave, situated at the east entrance to the Aokigahara Jukai "sea of trees" forest in the Five Lakes area. Formed over 1150 years ago by the lava flow from Nagaoyama, a flank volcano of Mt. Fuji, this two-tunnel looping cave is open for visits year-round.


      You’ll end the day at Arakurayama Sengen Park, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Mount Fuji and Fujiyoshida City, especially enchanting at night. In spring, cherry blossoms create a breathtaking scene around Arakura Fuji Sengen-jinja Shrine and its pagoda, both nestled within the park.

      You’ll head over to Jigokudani Monkey Park where you’ll experience the unique sight seeing wild monkeys (Japanese Macaques) bathing in the area’s hot springs within their natural habitat. The park is inhabited by , which are also known as Snow Monkeys.


      Then, you’ll discover the serene beauty of Lake Suwa, the largest lake in Nagano Prefecture, nestled in the heart of Suwa.       You’ll also visit the Takayama Jinya, which was once a government office from Edo (present-day Tokyo). Now a museum, it served officials until 1969, providing visitors a glimpse into governance during the historical Edo period.


      You’ll end the day at the Sanmachi Suji District, which consists of three streets within the heart of Takayama. Dubbed “Little Kyoto”, for its historical, Edo era appearance and appeal, this quaint district is lined with traditional buildings, shops, restaurants, sake breweries and cafes.

      You’ll begin your day with a trip to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Founded in 778, Kiyomizu-temple is one of Kyoto’s oldest monasteries and was added to the World Heritage List in 1994. The Shimizu stage hanging in front of this hall is a precious cultural relic of Japan, surrounded by green trees. In spring, cherry blossoms are in full bloom, which is one of the famous places for appreciating cherry blossoms in Kyoto. In autumn, it becomes a holy place for appreciating maple trees.

      Then, you’ll go to a Kimono Fitting before you explore the wonders and beauty of the city. The fitting also comes with a 1-hour photography session for about 40-60 photos. All photos take 2 days to be processed, and for those who prefer their photos unedited, 1 day.       You’ll also venture to Okochi-Sanso Villa, one of Kyoto’s most stunning building complexes. The main house here is one of the finest examples of traditional Japanese residential architecture anywhere, and you even a free cup of macha at the teahouse along with your ticket.
