      After breakfast at the hotel, you will go on a walkabout tour by public transport with your tour guide. You will start at Chow Kit Market, from where you will travel to Kampung Bahru. Photo stop in KLCC at the Petronas Towers. You will see the Jamek Mosque (oldest mosque in the city) and explore the area known as "Little India". Here you will have a typical Indian banana leaf lunch. At the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers, you will learn more about the origin of the cityโ€™s name "Kuala Lumpur".

      In the evening, explore the lively Chinatown district. Visit the lively night market in Chinatown and try your hand at "haggling". You will also pass the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, one of the most ornate Indian temples in the city.

      This full-day tour takes you to Malacca, which was once colonized by the Portuguese, Dutch, British and Japanese during their 400-year occupation. You will visit Dutch Square with the pink Stadthuys (photo stop), Christ Church, the Clock Tower and the Queen Victoria Fountain. You will also see the Cheng Hoon Teng, the oldest functioning Chinese temple in Malaysia, which was founded in 1645. Porta De Santiago, the gateway to the Portuguese fortress "La Formosa" built in 1511, St. Paulโ€™s Church, where St. Francis Xavier was once buried, and many other interesting places are also on the program. After lunch, you will have time to stroll through Jonker Street, which is famous for its Malaccan antiques. Return to the hotel in Kuala Lumpur in the late afternoon.

      You leave Kuala Lumpur and make your way to the Taman Negara rainforest. After lunch at a local restaurant, board a longboat for a leisurely ride through lush vegetation on the meandering river to the hotel in the rainforest. Along the way, you can observe the gentle call of nature, the different shades of green, exotic fish and even the occasional monitor lizard swimming in the water. Check-in at the hotel and dinner at the resort.


      But todayโ€™s adventure doesnโ€™t end there. A night-time jungle exploration is planned for around 8.30 pm. During this leisurely walk in the rainforest, you can observe nocturnal animals.

      09.30 am: You start the day with a jungle hike to Bukit Teresek. You will hike (approx. 45 minutes) along scenic trails that wind through a canopy of trees and colorful flora to the canopy walk. The canopy walkway is over 400 m long and consists of a series of suspension bridges between the trees, with viewpoints offering breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Lunch at the resort afterwards.

      14.30 hrs You embark on another exciting excursion to Lata Berkoh. You board a boat to reach the rapids of the Sungai Tahan River. There you have time to swim in the clear pools or relax on the riverbank. Return to the resort and dinner.

      Itโ€™s worth getting up early to enjoy the sunrise on the terrace!


      After breakfast, check out and drive to the mountain region of the Cameron Highlands.

      8.45 am Take the local water cab to cross the river and meet your driver at the jetty of Kuala Tahan. (The water cabs are operated by local villagers and the minimum fare is MYR 3 per person, payable directly to the driverโ€™s account)

      From the jetty in Kuala Tahan, your journey to the Cameron Highlands begins. Located at an altitude of 1,542 meters, this breathtaking landscape is Malaysiaโ€™s largest hill station with sprawling tea plantations nestled against the hills. It was founded by the British colonialist Sir William Cameron. Modeled after a traditional English village, it was intended to offer the inhabitants of the lowlands some respite during the stuffy summer months. For this reason, numerous traditional colonial buildings can be found in the area. Overnight stay in the Cameron Highlands.

  • Day 8 Cameron Highlands - Ipoh - Georgetown (Penang Island), (F)

      Your next destination is the island of Penang, also known as the "Pearl of the Orient".


      Before you leave the Cameron Highlands, you will visit a tea plantation and a tea factory (factory visit subject to availability as it is often closed).


      On the way, you will visit a Chinese temple in Ipoh in the state of Perak. You continue the day with an exploration of the Ubudiah Mosque and the Iskandariah Palace (Royal Palace) and make a photo stop in Kuala Kangsar. Continue to the Istana Kenangan Museum built in 1926 without using a single nail.

      Arrival in Penang in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure. 2overnight stays in Georgetown.

      Combine nature with culture and culinary delights today with a visit to the Tropical Spice Garden. The cooking class package includes a guided tour of the garden with herbal tea, coffee and tea, a 100% hands-on class and lunch with the chef.

      The tour of the spice garden will begin promptly at 9:00am, followed by the cooking class at 10:15am and ending at 1:00-1:30pm. Menus are correct at the time of publication. Should unforeseen circumstances arise, changes may need to be made to the menu. After lunch, you will continue your exploration tour, this time in Georgetown, the capital of the state of Penang.

      The city was founded in 1786 by Captain Francis Light on behalf of the English East India Company and named after King George III. You will love the atmosphere of living history here. Penang is one of the richest cities in Southeast Asia and has a number of colonial buildings and ancient ruins. The tour includes a stop (photo stop) at Fort Cornwallis dating back to 1808, where the founder of the British colony Sir Francis Light landed on the island. You will drive through the "Street of Harmony", where an Anglican church is located right next to the Chinese temple Kuan Tyin, the Indian Mahamariaman Temple and the Kapitan Keling Mosque. This street is a symbol of the cultural and multi-ethnic kaleidoscope that is Malaysia today.


      In the evening, explore the vibrant streets of Georgetown with its unique charm and night lights, a variety of street stalls. Sample the islandโ€™s culinary delights!
