After Breakfast, we drive north of Nairobi passing through the Equator and the majestic Mount Kenya en-route to the open savannah of Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before you go for an evening game drive. Come back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
ย It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserve has a wealth of wildlife which includes leopards, hippos, elephants, lions, Grevy zebras and crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the reserve.

Morning breakfast Then be driven to Olpejata . Previously known as Sweetwaters, Ol Pejeta is a privately-owned 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy. Originally a cattle ranch, in some areas you will still see wildlife and cattle grazing happily side by side. The conservancy sits on the equator, high on a plateau, between the foothills of the Aberdares range and Mount Kenya. It hosts a wide variety of animals, including the โbig fiveโ, plus many bird species. On a clear day, and normally in the morning, you may have panoramic views of Mt Kenya and her snow-capped peaks. The conservancy has a variety of habitats including thick scrub, marshlands, rivers and open plains. Ol Pejeta is committed to conservation and has a number of projects to protect endangered species, including white and black rhino. They also have a Jane Goodall chimpanzee sanctuary which is home to primates who have been rescued from abusive or captive situations. There are a number of unique experiences which you can add to a safari including a night game drive and lion tracking (booked locally).

Stop At: Crater Lake Game Sanctuary, Crater Lake, Naivasha 20117 Kenya
Breakfast will be serve in the early morning and you will be picked up by a driver from 0730am
Then transfer to the Green Crater Lake takes you out of Naivasha and along a rough and bumpy road down the edge of lake Naivasha Passing by huge Greenhouses where roses and other flowers are grown for the export market.
You will arrive at the Green Crater Lake at 8.00am approximately and you will begin your morning game walk. The green crater lake was formed by volcanic activity.
The group will walk in a reserve where its possible to get up close to Giraffe and many varieties of antelope. It is a great opportunity for photos. The guides will answer questions about the animals birdlife etc and point out the rocks formed due to the volcanic activity.
