Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel

Pass By: Entebbe, Entebbe, Central Region
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our company driver guide who will brief you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Protea Hotel Entebbe as you truly relax from the jet lag and prepare for the next dayโ€™s adventure

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Pass By: Rhino Fund Uganda ( Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary), Gulu Highway Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Nakitoma Uganda
Early morning, the driver will pick you from your hotel and brief you before heading out to Murchison falls which is in the northern part of Uganda. Along the way you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda so that you have a complete feel of the African Big five mammals as it is the Rhinos, out of the big five that are missing in Murchison Falls National park. Here you will go for a trek around the sanctuary on foot. You will have lunch at the sanctuary and some relaxation for an indefinitely short time and embark on an exciting road trip to Murchison falls, arriving in the evening at the lodge for relaxation and dinner at Paraa Safari Lodge

Day 3: Morning game drive- Boat cruise and hike to the top of the falls

Pass By: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
After an early morning warm up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like: Lions, Giraffes, oribis, Elephants, Jacksonโ€™s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, Buffaloes among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax preparing for yet an exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, transfer for a three hours boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of falls where you will have the opportunity to view animals like; crocodiles, hippos, in the water and some on the river banks, while; buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the river bank grazing and drinking water. You will then have to hike to the top of the falls for a clear view of the falls. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge

Day 4: Murchison falls morning game drive โ€“Transfer to Hoima

Pass By: Hoima, Hoima, Western Region
After breakfast, enjoy an early game drive and enjoy some of the vast array of game animals like giraffes, elephants and buffalo that roam the park. Return to the accommodation unit for lunch. In the afternoon embark on the journey to Hoima following the Albertine rift. Dinner and overnight at Kontiki Hotel Hoima

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale forest national park-the primatesโ€™ capital

Pass By: Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park, Western Region
After a healthy breakfast, you will be transfer to Kibale forest National Park, the capital world of Primates such as chimpanzee, baboons and monkeys. With en-route lunch meals. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for relaxation. Later in the day you shall transfer to the Bigodi Wetlands, situated on the eastern edge of the forest. There you shall take a light walk in the wetlands to observe plenty of wildlife including birds and many monkey species. You will retire for the day at Isunga Safari Lodge

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Pass By: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
Assemble at the park headquarters for briefing and then go for the most popular activity in this park which is Chimpanzee tracking. Chimpanzees are manโ€™s closet cousins though they are one of the most threatened primateโ€™s species. More primates like Black and white Columbus monkeys, Lโ€™Hoest Monkeys, Grey cheecked Mangabey, Red tailed monkeys, bush babies, pottos and many bird species like the yellow spotted nicator, rumped tinker bird, Little greenbul, green breasted pitta, the crowned eagle, black bee eater and mammals like Elephants can be seen in this trek. Have lunch and relax for some time. Later transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will view wild animals en route as you transfer to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Parkview Safari Lodge

Day 7: Whole day in Queen Elizabeth National Park-Game drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel/optional community walk

Pass By: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate to see the famous big five including Buffalos, elephants, Lions and other mammals like Giant forest hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas and water bucks. In the afternoon hours you will partake in a launch cruise along Kazinga channel. You will appreciate the high scores of Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen along including the rare shoe bill. Diner and overnight at Parkview Safari Lodge

Day 8: Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi Gorilla land

Pass By: Ishasha, Uganda
Transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Bwindi, and this area is known for its tree-climbing lions.
In Ishasha we will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area with Topis and African Elephants plus to hopefully get the Lions high in the fig tree branches. You will have lunch in Ishasha and continue with the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here you will experience a change in the landscape from flat savanna, via cultivated hills to jungle covered mountains. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Lodge

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest-Transfer to Lake Mburo National park

After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start the trekking โ€“ the activity can last up to 4 hours trek or more to find the Mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. Hence you will have packed lunch for this activity. This active quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures-the mountain gorillas. Upon reaching them, you will have a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge

Day 10: Morning game drive and transfer to Entebbe international airport via the equator line!

Pass By: Lake Mburo National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Western Region
After having an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo national park. This park is famous for Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Elands, Cape Buffalos and many tropical bird species., checkout of the hotel and transfer to Entebbe international airport to readily catch your flight back home in the evening as you say farewell to the pearl of Africa!!.But along the way, you will make a stopover at the Equator line to have an authentic feel of standing at Latitude 00
