Accommodation

One night standard accommodation in a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu on a twin sharing basis including 1 breakfast. 9 nights of guest house accommodation during the trek on a twin sharing basis.

All necessary paper works Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit & Trekkerโ€™s Information Management System (TIMS) permit. Comprehensive medical supplies (first aid kit will be available). Arrangement of Emergency Helicopter service (paid by your Travel Insurance company). Use of sleeping bag, down Jacket, Duffel bag, and walking Poles (if you donโ€™t have your own, To be returned after the trip completed). Government taxes and official expenses. Oxymeter to check your pulse and oxygen saturation and heart rate twice daily (Very useful to check Altitude Mountain Sickness(AMS) symptoms) Which will ensure you trek is in the safest hands possible for all levels of trekker. Flights

All domestic flights (From Kathmandu - Lukla and Lukla to Kathmandu) including airport departure tax and transfers. (Note: If you want to take a shared helicopter, it will cost you an extra amount.)

Please be advised that if you need to return early from the trek due to reasons such as sickness, unfavorable weather conditions, personal issues, itinerary modifications, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the following conditions apply: - Any payments made for flights, hotel accommodations, mountain room bookings, meals, and related expenses are nonrefundable. - You will be required to cover the costs of hotel stays, meals, and other expenses in Kathmandu independently. Additionally, please note that during the months of March to May and September to November, all flights will depart from Ramechhap.   • Day 1 Day 1: Fly To Lukla And Trek To Phakding (2,640M) 4-5 Hours.

      Our adventure begins after arriving at Lukaโ€™s Tenzing Hillary Airport from where we follow the trail to Phakding. The trail takes us through Chaurikharka Village before climbing up to Dudh Koshi Ghat (2,530m/8,300ft) and then to Phakding. At Phakding we will visit the Buddhist Rimishung Monastery. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Trek From Phakding To Namche Bazaar (3,440M) 5-6 Hours.

      Today we follow the trail through the valley next to the Dudh Kosi River. Several times we cross the Dudh Kosi River on suspension bridges before climbing higher before arriving at the small village of Jorsale in the Khumbu region โ€“ just to the south of Namche Bazaar. After a two hour trek we come to Namche Bazaar. On the trail we have some amazing views of Mt. Everest (Sagamartha in Nepali). We officially enter the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale where authorities will check your trekking permit.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Trek From Namche Bazaar To Tengboche (3,860M) 5-6 Hours.

      Today we follow the trail to Tengboche along a zigzag trail through several valleys before arriving at Kenjoma. Along the way we pass many Mani stones on the trail (stones inscribed with sacred Buddhist prayers). The views of Everest and Mt. Ama Dablam are awesome along this section of the trail. We then come to the small village of Sanasa from where the trail descends to Phunki Thanga (3250m). We then have a steep climb up through pine forests before arriving at Tengboche (3870m). Tengboche is well-known for its magnificent views of many of the worldโ€™s tallest peaks, such as Kwangde (6187m), Tawachee (6542m), Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse (8501m), Amadablam, Kantega and Thamserku. 

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche (4,410M) 4-5 Hours.

      Today the trail is mostly downhill for 3 to 4 hours and pass through forests before crossing the Imja Khola (river) and then passing through the village of Pangboche, well known for its cultivated fields encompassed by rock walls. Dingboche is also where yaks are grazed during summer months.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Trek From Dingboche To Lobuche (4,940M) 5-6 Hours.

      Today we pass many Chortens (Tibetan shrines & tombs) before arriving at the village of Thugla (4600m) where we will stop for a lunch break at its tea house. After lunch we head in the direction of some high peaks, such as Mt Pumori (7161m) and Mt. Nuptse (7861m) before coming to Lobuche Village (4940m). We then trek through an open valley before arriving at Thukla after first passing the first aid post at Pheriche (4371m). The post is only manned during the peak trekking seasons. We then head down to the yak pastures of the small settlement of Lobuche. 

  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek From Lobuche To Gorak Shep (5,180M) And Hike To Everest Base Camp (5,364M) 7-8 Hours.

      This morning we begin with a two-hour trek to Gorakshep. Along the trail, we have some great views of several high peaks, such as Everest, Nuptse and others. The trail continues for about 150 meters before we have to cross a moraine and then becomes easier before arriving at Gorakshep, one of the worldโ€™s most remote and highest settlements. After stopping for a lunch break we continue to EBC following a trail alongside the Khumbu Glacier. The trek around the glacier takes around 1.5 hours before we come to EBC (5360m). At base camp, you will get to meet other climbers and share stories. From EBC there are great views of the Khumbu Glacier with its frightening and dangerous crevices. We will then return to Gorakshep for the night.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Early In The Morning Hike Up To Kala Pathar (5,550M)And Trek To Pheriche (4,280M) 7-8 Hours.

      The early morning pre-dawn trek to Kala Patthar (5550m) from Gorakshep will take around two hours. After a short climb to Kalapathar you will have panoramic views of Everest and other tall snow covered peaks. The wonderful photos of Everest seen on the internet are taken from here. We then head down to Gorakshep, a fairly easy downhill trek. At Gorakshep we will stop for tea and a snack before continuing on to Pheriche where we will stay the night.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek From Pheriche To Namche Bazaar (3,441M) 6-7 Hours.

      This morning we head back to Namche Bazaar following the Dudh Koshi River. Along the way we will stop for a tea break and later for lunch. We then have to cross the suspension bridge and pass through rhododendron and pine forests. The trail passes Mani stones, Chorten, and Stupas before arriving at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Trek From Namche To Lukla (2,804M) 6-7 Hours.

      We have a long day on the trail with a 7 hour trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla, which is nearly all downhill with some sections of flat ground. We exit the Sagarmatha National Park and then continue on to Lukla where we stay overnight.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Fly Back To Kathmandu From Lukla And & Transfer To Hotel.

      Our early morning flight will have us arrive at Kathmandu in about 30 minutes. During the flight, you will have a birds-eye view of the worldโ€™s towering peaks in the Himalayan Mountains. Your guide will take you from the airport to your hotel in Thamel where you can do some last-minute shopping or wander around the narrow winding streets.
