      You’ll begin your tour at Tokyo`s oldest and most prominent temple, the majestic Senso-Ji. Steeped in tradition dating back over fourteen hundred years, Senso-Ji remains a cherished symbol of both Asakusa and Tokyo.

      Then you’ll visit the Tokyo Skytree – a remarkable telecommunications tower standing proud at an astounding height of 634 meters! This iconic city landmark forms the epicenter of the Tokyo Skytree Town in the Sumida City ward near Asakusa. With its towering stature, the Skytree used to be the tallest building globally until 2019, and now ranks second. Tokyo Skytree is also home to a massive shopping complex and an impressive aquarium, both located in its base.

      Then, you’ll get to explore Akihabara, often referred to as "Electric Town," is Tokyo’s premier district for electronics, as well as a popular hub for immersing oneself in anime and manga culture.

      You’ll then explore the Tokyo National Museum, which houses an extensive collection of over 100,000 art and archaeological artifacts, including nearly a hundred national treasures. The museum showcases around 4,000 different items from its permanent collection, with regular and temporary exhibitions.

      We’ll begin the day at teamLab Planets Tokyo, an innovative art experience curated by the renowned art collective, teamLab. Boasting cutting-edge technology like projection and motion capture, its immersive and genre-defying galleries have made it one of Tokyo’s top tourist attractions.


      You’ll also get to visit Meiji Jingu Shrine, Tokyo’s largest and most influential spiritual site. Located just beside the JR Yamanote Line’s busy Harajuku Station, the Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city. The spacious shrine grounds offer walking paths that are great for a relaxing stroll.

      Shibuya Crossing is a must-visit for any trip to Tokyo. This sprawling intersection just outside Shibuya Station is covered with lights and massive billboards, a national symbol of Tokyo, and the sight of watching 1,000 people cross at a time makes it a one-of-a-kind experience. The nearby Shibuya Center Gai which is home to hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants, some which give you access to a stunning view of the crossing from up high.


      Finally, we’ll end the day at the Hachiko Statue: put up to honor the faithful dog who waited at Shibuya Station every day for his master, even after his death, and one of the most popular tourist spots in Tokyo.

      Owakudani, a remnant of a volcanic eruption 4,000 years ago, still showcases bursts of white smoke and the unmistakable scent of sulfur.       Today you’ll visit the stunning Higashi Honganji Temple. An incredible feat of traditional Japanese architecture, it was built in 1602 and located near Nishi Honganji Temple. These two enormous temples once formed a united complex before being separated during feudal times due to concerns over political influence. Today, Higashi Honganji continues to inviting visitors from all over the globe and maintains a significant role within Japan’s religious landscape as the head temple of the Otani faction of Jodo-shin Buddhism, and houses the Goeido: one of the world’s largest wooden structures, and the nearby Amidado Hall.

      Next, you’ll visit Sanjusangendo, which is the popular name for Rengeo-in, a temple in eastern Kyoto which is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy of Japanese Buddhism. It is also home to a wooden statue of a 1000-armed Kannon (Senju Kannon) which is flanked on each side by 500 statues of human sized 1000-armed Kannon standing in ten rows.

      Then you’ll experience the grand Nishiki Market: a narrow, five block long shopping street lined by more than one hundred shops and restaurants. Known as "Kyoto’s Kitchen", this lively market specializes in fresh seafood, produce, knives and cookware, and is a great place to find plenty of Kyoto specialties such as Japanese sweets, pickles, dried seafood and sushi.

      Today you’ll visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred, 233-meter-tall Mount Inari.

      Ujigami Shrine is believed to be the oldest standing shrine in Japan. Although there is no official record of when it was first constructed, experts estimate that Ujigami Shrine was well established by 1060. It was closely linked to Byodoin Temple as its "guardian shrine".

      Then, we’ll take you down to the town of Uji, famous for its high-quality macha tea and the earliest place where green tea was first cultivated in Japan. We’ll take you down to Byodoin Omotesando, a street that is packed with tea and dessert shops filled with treats made out of Uji’s matcha.

      You’ll then visit Ujigami Shrine, an ancient Shinto shrine situated in Uji. Established over a millennium ago, it is dedicated to the worship of two kami (deities) - Ujibuti no Mikoto and Tamatsukuri no Okami. The shrine houses some remarkable treasures, including the oldest surviving examples of Japanese calligraphy, the Engishiki manuscripts.

      Finally, you’ll venture to Byodo-In Temple. Also known as Phoenix Hall, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage site that was built in 1052. The temple’s iconic feature is its Great Buddha Hall, adorned with intricate murals, sculptures, and decorative motifs that depict scenes from Mahayana Buddhism, and is home to a massive bronze statue of Amida Nyurai (Amida Buddha).

      Next, we’ll pay a visit to the historic Osaka Castle Park, behold the castle itself in all its splendor, and get a glimpse into what life was life as a member of the shogunate.

      You’ll then visit the Osaka Museum of History, where you’ll be able to view and engage in a variety of activities that educate on the historic and cultural heritage of Osaka, from ancient times as Japan’s first capital to its contemporary era.

      Finally, you’ll venture to the ultramodern Umeda Sky Building, a landmark of Osaka’s Kita Ward. Built in 1993, you’ll venture up to the uniquely designed observation deck for a picture-perfect view of Osaka’s expansive cityscape!
