Day 1 Arrival In Lima - City Tour

Arrival In Lima - City Tour

Upon arrival in the morning, reception, assistance and transfer to the hotel.

The tour starts with your pick-up from the hotel between 2:00 - 2:30 p.m, a trip to the essential Lima, “The City of Kings” including the most important architectural icons of the city, such as the Main Square, where you can find the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and the Archbishop’s Palace.)

Then, we continue with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, an architectonic jewel dating back to the 16th century. On our way to the modern area of the city, we will cross the exclusive district of San Isidro, the new financial heart of the city, we conclude our circuit in Miraflores, where we will visit the “Parque del Amor” (Love Park) an excellent spot to enjoy a great view of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 2 Lima - Ballestas Islands - Ica - Huacachina- Return To Lima

3 am: Early transfer to the bus statin to take the bus to Paracas or Pisco

8 am: Reception and transfer to the Paracas Bay, where our two-hour motorboat excursion to the Ballestas Islands will begin. These beautiful islands, located in front of the Paracas National Reserve, are the biggest natural sanctuary along our shores and are home to thousands of migratory birds, which share their habitat with huge groups of sea lions and fur seals. During the excursion, you will find a mysterious design over the hill, called “El Candelabro” (The Chandelier).

10 am: Transportation to Ica, visit a vineyard to learn about the local wine and Pisco. Finally visit the Huacachina Oasis for dune buggy ride and sandboarding.

17:00 pm: Transfer to the bus station to take the bus to Lima.

Upon arrival, reception at the station and transfer to your hotel (arrival: 22:00 pm)

AM Transportation from the hotel to the airport:

Flight to Cusco. Upon arrival reception, assistance and transfer to the selected hotel; where you should rest to adjust better to the altitude (11,000 ft a.s.l.)

Afternoon Combined tour; visit the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay.

Day 4 Sacred Valley: Pisac Ruins, Market & Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

Sacred Valley: Pisac Ruins, Market & Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

Visit PISAC located right at the entrance to the Sacred Valley, the amazing Inca city that constitutes one of the most important Archaeological Parks in the region. Visit the fine temples, palaces and the well preserved and vast farming terraces; built even as far as the edge of precipices that still keep their straight sometimes vertical aqueducts; an imposing and unforgettable sight that also offers very beautiful landscapes. Later visit PISAC the Colonial Village, where you will see the famous "Indian Market" and the handicrafts or "souvenirs" market, this is your chance to enjoy a blend of color, traditions and people, and bargain for exotic craftworks.

After Lunch at Urubamba Village, tour to the oldest continuously inhabited dwellings in South America, where people are still living in the same houses and palaces as 500 years ago; the ancient Incan town of OLLANTAYTAMBO, with its very impressive constructions built with huge boulders and its ancient heritage that will leave us astonished.

Machupicchu: Wonder of the World

Finally you will have a train ride to Aguas Calientes town (1 1/2 hours) to overnight.

Day 5 Machupicchu - Cusco

Machupicchu - Cusco

Early bus ride to Machupicchu (1/2 hour) and guided visit (2 1/2 hours) of the "Holy City of the Incas", the highlight of any trip to South America.

If there is room and paying extra US$20 per person: On your own you can take the hikes to Huaynapicchu Peak (2 hours) or Montana Machupicchu (3 hours).

Afternoon return to Ollantaytambo by train (1 1/2 hours) and transfer by bus to the hotel in Cusco. (1 1/2 hours) (B)

Note: If you are interested in climbing to Huaynapicchu or Montana Machupicchu you have to pay US$20 per person for the entrance fees and you have to let us know in advance, we must buy tickets ASAP, there is a short limit per day.
