      Departure from Mexico City

      You meet the guide and the rest of the group, and depart from Mexico City. You get to Tlachichuca, where you make a last stop for any last minute purchases for snacks or any thing else that is needed. Once ready you continue on the way to Piedra Grande, the camping zone. This part of the drive is full of amazing views, and you can start seeing at the distance the peak of the volcano.

  • Day 2 Summit attack.
    • 1:00 am - 11:30 am

      Summit attack.

      You leave at dawn, with your headlamps and everything necessary to conquer the summit. It is a big challenge, a hike to a high mountain summit. You walk for around 7 hours. The trail to the summit is incredible, you are always surrounded by wonderful landscapes.

      Hiking time: Approximately 7 hours climbing. Difficulty: Very challenging.
