  • Day 1 Departure Antigua -Coban - Lanquin
    • 5:00 am - 7:00 pm

      Departure Antigua -Coban - Lanquin

      Today the appointment is at 05:00 am at the following address: 5a Avenida y 6a Calle, Antigua, Guatemala. Arrival transfer (airport - meeting point) not included. We recommend you arrive at least 01 day before (check the extras section) so you can be at the meeting point at the indicated time. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide. Departure from Antigua to Coban, having breakfast on the route, while you leave Antigua to go to the central highlands of Guatemala. A few kilometers from Coban you will make a stop to rest. Walk to a secluded area where you will find a 45-foot waterfall that falls into a refreshing pool. During this walk through the cloud forest you will be able to look for the elusive Quetzal, Guatemala's national icon, and the most venerated bird. After the hike, you will have lunch at the side of the road, to continue your trip to Lanquín.

  • Day 2 Lanquín - Cave System
    • 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

      Lanquín - Cave System

      Enjoy a refreshing bath before breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast you will put on your special equipment to explore caves and head to the famous cave system of Lanquín. This exploration (4 - 5 hours) will take you through immense caves, passing subway lakes, to discover the heart of Alta Verapaz. Upon arrival outside you will find a passage for a tour of the Lanquín River to the hotel. After a well-deserved shower, you return to the caves to see thousands of bats that come out in search of their dinner. Return to the hotel.

  • Day 3 Lanquín - Semuc Champey - Kan Ba
    • 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

      Lanquín - Semuc Champey - Kan Ba

      Grab your gear and head to the top of the eighth wonder of the world, Semuc Champey. Here you can sunbathe in its pools, until your heart is content, enjoying the sun and the turquoise waters. Afterwards, have a picnic lunch at the pools before returning to the hotel to pick up your caving equipment again. Kan Ba cave is a water cave, so be prepared for a wet and slippery ride. Return to the hotel.
